SILICONE: ESSENTIAL FOR CAST IRON COOKWARE
My whisk arrived several days late but reasonably packed (although stuffed through the letterbox by the delivery driver). Luckily, it wasn't damaged. I like OXO Good Grips products and this looks sufficiently sturdy. My previous silicone whisk was old and virtually falling apart which is why I replaced it with this one. I hope it serves me as well as the discarded one. With cast iron cookware, one should never use metal tools so investing in silicone tools is essential. I shall use this OXO whisk for sauces, gravy, and scrambled eggs.
