Freezes, slow, eats the battery
Had an older version of this phone, and loved it. Really wanted this one to be at least as good, but it's terrible. Can't get through half a day before having to charge the battery, the OS is extremely slow. Usually takes a few seconds to respond to button clicks, seems to freeze up altogether several times per day.

It is a pretty well made phone.
I am a welder fabricator and got this for rugged use, so far works great but in the programing it jumps off and on from 4g to no tower all the time.

Charging issues, died within a week
It seemed like a good phone, but it would only charge in certain positions. Then about a week later it died. It would start to turn on and then flash a low battery and go black, but it would show the battery was charging and at 60% prior to that. We were disappointed.

T Mobile only!
I bought this as a back up since this model is no longer made and never realized it was locked for T Mobile. It is now useless to me as TMobile will not unlock it. This phone is a great phone but just be aware that you can only use it with a Tmobile plan.

Short battery life, but VERY durable.
*update* battery is ok after you disable all unnecessary aps and background stuff. Still the best phone we've ever owned (durably speaking). Look at pics, everything on phone still works! And yes that's the circuit board from under the glass.Battery sucks, but it is a good phone. It is most definitely durable! I will be buying my husband one again. It took 6 months for him to crack the screen, and another 2 months for it to completely shatter and it's still alive weeks later and works. I know that doesn't seem like a long life, but for my husband (who will break a normal phone in less than a month) it's amazing! Someone like me (who has had the same phone for 5 years) could probably own it for a lifetime. Side note on the abuse it's taken: thrown, slammed, run over (by a 3/4 ton truck), punched, dropped from 4 feet onto pavement multiple times, kicked, stepped on, ect. Basically anything you've ever accidentally or on purpose ;) done to your phone it's put up with.

Rugged - but annoying
I purchased this phone through Verizon because I needed a durable phone for the field. The phone has proven to be rugged, and I like the wireless charging feature. However, that's where it stops. There are a few issues that make this unit a poor choice. For starters, the phone has a tendency to overheat - frequently! Another annoying "feature" is the side-mounted camera button, ostensibly placed for convenience/usability. The button is so sensitive that simply carrying the phone in one's pocket is sufficient to load up the memory with unwanted pocket shots and videos, draining the battery, overheating the phone and filling up google drive. By the way, the external camera button cannot be disabled. Can't wait to get rid of this boat anchor. There's got to be a better choice for a rugged smartphone. Alas, still haven't found it...

Very rugged phone.
This phone does 90% of what the $500 phones can do!I have had 3 generations of these phones.
