This hat really did the job today. I did not get sunburn at all. It was a bit windy today and I had to watch that the wind didn’t blow the cap off my head. But as far as protecting me from the sun. It gets an A+. Oh I discovered there is a chin strap to help keep the cap on my head in the wind. Perfect.

I use it for running. It keeps the sun off my back and side of my face. Front mask a little too big but that’s not a problem. It gives a lot of sun proctection.

Dry fit and comfortable for a hot day. The back drape is split though so you could definitely still get sunburn on the neck. Would recommend a closed back.

I recently got my hair cut extremely short and needed a hat with fabric that would cover my neck and shoulders when I mow. This one fits the bill. It's not fancy, but it works. It's also light which is appreciated in the heat and humidity of summer. The only problem is that I need to be sure that the back stays closed so the back of my neck isn't exposed to sunshine.

My friend spent $50 on an L.L. Bean hat for the safari we went on in Africa, and this hat had so much more going on than his. It really covers all the bases for a dusty area, and I wanted a hat that didn’t have some crappy logo on it so in terms of looks I was happy too. Also I’m not sure when I’ll use this hat again, so in terms of cost this was really the most effective.

The only thing I would change is make the flap in the back cover the bottom half of your neck or you'll get wicked sunburn in that area I just sewed it.

Fabric good. Crown large enough. Bill long. Side flaps useful, but not quite long enough. Mask useless (for me). Glad I bought the hat, though, and wear it every day.

fantastic lightweight hat with nice options. Snaps seem quite secure, fabric is smooth, seams are tight. Really happy with this purchase.
