It's works, Velcro is tough. Snug for hefty guys, but it expands a bit and fit well.

The quality of this vest is very good and over a little time and use adjusts like others. The price is great for the quality. Obviously, if you want the military grade (heavier and higher price) you may want to upgrade but this is perfect for everyday citizens.

A standard 10" wide plate will NOT fit in, unless it is very thin. Plate pockets are simply too snug. That's a shame, because otherwise it would be a keeper.

This vest looks great but I think it’s a little big for me. The back part pushes my belt down. Feels kinda uncomfortable when I’m driving as well. I’m 5’5 165lbs

For what you pay for this, there is definitely better quality vests out there. The material is thin and the plate pocket would not accommodate my cereamic plates. Also the length of the vest is not desirable unless you are a very short framed skinny person. I love the style of the vest, but they fell short on everything else.

I work in security and was looking for a new vest for duty use because my plate carrier needs some repairs done. I was looking for something budget friendly and this vest was a better choice. It is definitely meant for soft body armor and not hard plates, due to there being no way to secure the hard plates inside the vest, but it's working well. I added a QD system to the sides because I HATE velcro straps for a cummerbund. The QD system works well but I had to cut off a lot of excess on the cummerbund, it is adjustable with the original velcro but it seems to be meant for some big individuals...and I'm 6'5" over 200+ Ibs. Lol (OH SURE, NOW THEY ADD A QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM TO THEIR NEW DESIGN! Granted being 6'5", the vest covers enough of your torso to do the job but again the vest is not designed for hard plates, only soft armor.)
