Set of 5 Microwave Plate Covers with Adjustable Steam Vents; Microwave Splatter Covers

I have a large dinner plate sized cover. I needed something for bowls, condiment cups etc. These are perfect for items that are too small for a plate cover. I try to wash by hand, but they've been through the dishwasher many times with no ill effect. Check the measurements, so you won't be disappointed by their size. These are great for a one or two person household, especially if you eat at different times. Saves on plastic wrap, plus you don't have to worry about plastic melting on your food.

I love everything about these covers! The different sizes are practical, easier to use than a "one size fits all". Definitely easy to clean. Have used to reheat spaghetti with sauce--so far, no staining. (I do wash by hand. But I think they'd be ok dishwasher-top shelf.). They also nest so are very easy to store.

Even the largest cover won't comfortably fit over a standard dinner sized plate, not without sitting ON the plate and coming into direct contact with the food on it. The largest and second largest covers are the only two that are big enough to be very useful; the smallest three are too small to cover even a small bowl with (the second to largest cover BARELY fits over a standard corelle bowl and the recessed handle dips down further than the top, so it sits IN your food, while the next size down sits ON the edge of the bowl rather precariously). Make these even half an inch taller and larger in diameter and it would increase their functionality by a huge amount.

These were perfect for me. They hold up well to the heat of the microwave and are vented for steam release. As noted in several of the comments, the largest cover is quite small. I already had a couple of full-plate sized microwave covers, so this set fit the bill for use with smaller plates, bowls, etc. So, if you're expecting a lid that fits a large dinner plate, don't order this set; you'll be sorely disappointed. But, if like me, you're looking for something for use with smaller dishes, this set may be just what you need.

Works okay but Smaller than it looks

I needed a cover that was less than 10 1/2 " in diameter for my new microwave. This was the only way to get one and the largest is the perfect size (8 3/4"). I guess I'll use the next smaller size, but ??? for the other three. Luckily, they fit nicely inside of each other and came in a bag, so they'll stay in the cabinet until needed. A shame that I had to pay almost $10 to get one item I needed and a bunch I didn't. They look and work just fine, no better or worse than any others (so far).

They do the job but they are smaller than expected the largest doesn't even go all the way down over a 10 inch plate.
