Better than Expected and small and neat
Excellent build quality, rubber grips on peddles as opposed to plastic like some others, feels comfortable on bare feet, looks prime quality and more discreet than some others. Resistance bands great, can lean back and sit forward on different height seating, the remote works well and rotation is good. To rotate in manual mode press on remote, it will stop and pause to change over and start again, the function button only works in manual mode to view each reading of choice, it won’t work in automatic mode- but it lets you see each reading one by one automatically. The auto modes have a pattern of going slow to fast, forward and rotating backwards by itself. It is .Relaxing whilst watching tv, couldn’t use with others in office as it might annoy others but certainly ok to use whilst watching tv. I could see this being good for elderly to improve circulation, ankle and calf strength whilst also strengthening wrists , shoulders, arms and chest muscles with resistance bands. You may lose some calories too and build up strength slowly and gently. Looks better than any others I’ve seen on Amazon. Delivered with care and has a years warranty which you need to register for- details in manual. . Weight 7kg lighter than most and was easy to pick up with one hand but elderly may need two hands but reasonable weight to lift short distances. Mat is thin but may not be required afterall. Used on a carpet. Impressed with overall quality. Once you get used to where the readings are on screen you can see it light up as each reading is presented. Not read instructions yet so was pretty easy to get going. It has a safety cut off after 15mins so as not to over do it but it’s easily started again with the remote or by touching the screen button. Just arrived so will update if any issues.

MERACH Under Desk Elliptical Machine for Home,
I purchased a larger (and heavier!) model of this product but returned immediately – completely hassle-free – because, as one in the autumn of his years, I found it too cumbersome and difficult to manoeuvrer. A full refund was made directly. Because I was so impressed by the quality of workmanship of the first merchandise and its presentation, I decided to give the supplier another try and how thankful I am that I did! This version of the product is ideal for the seniors who may wish to use it in their lounge which is my location fitting perfectly under the coffee table! It is light and easily potable and is the perfect way to exercise those important muscles without undue exertion. One of the big ‘turn-offs’ attached to online shopping is the almost universal absence of after-sales service which is of significant concern to most shoppers. However, I am bound to say this has certainly not been the case with this suppler. It has been a shinning example of good old-fashioned service. A stellar performance all round. Good product
Bought for my mother! She finds it easy to use and moves her legs for her allowing her to exercise her legs easily as her mobility is limited

Great for the frail - No resistance at all
Sturdy and heavy which is needed to stop it moving around. Different speeds and will do reverse motion also which is good. For me, it wasn’t helpful. There is zero resistance, despite having different modes to choose from. It does say low impact or similar, I thought because it had modes available, one would make it a bit harder to pedal but there is no way of doing that. So it’s very gentle and great for the frail.

Fantasitc for quick leg workouts
tl;dr: Great little gadget for working out the legs under a desk, won't give you a super tough workout and the resistance is limited but certainly helps to add activity to where there would otherwise be none. I bought these to sit under my desk to try and get a bit more exercise in. Now these will not turn you into the next Lance Armstrong but you can certainly get in a reasonable workout with them. If I put some effort then I can get my heart rate up into the 100 range and I certainly feel the burn in my legs when I give it some gas and go for a decent length of time. The resistance adjustment range is poultry at best, I can certainly feel a difference but it's _very_ subtle. The machine feels well built and pretty solid however it does have a tendency to move around a LOT on carpet. Sticking it atop a rubber mat should sort that out thought. I've not used the automatic feature so I can't comment on that. I think the unit looks quite stylish, especially with the woodgrain finish.

I looked at so many options before I ordered this Merach stepper elliptical machine and I'm thrilled with it! I wanted something basic yet effective, super quiet, easy to operate and lightweight. I got everything but the lightweight part, but thats subjective. For an old lady, this is not easy to lift and tote around, but it's possible (easier if you have sled dogs you can tie it to). I think I'll leave it where it landed cuz I use it there. The stepper has a remote control to run it but I've also discovered a certain channel put in my TV remote will turn the machine on too -- surprise!! That's kind of weird, especially because the machine remote has to be pointed directly at it to work. So the remote works fine and is easy to use or you can reach down and use the controls between your feet. There are different speeds and you can go forward and backward. The movement is smooth and very quiet, which are both important to me. Two other things I like about this: it doesn't have to be electrically powered to move but also works on human effort (and it requires real effort either forward or backward), and it has resistance handpulls that can be attached to both sides to work your arms too. This part is only through human efforts, so put your back into it and get a more thorough workout. This is a great product except for two things I don't like but never considered before buying. One is the darn plug cord is way too short!!! Like my new coffee maker, you're required to plug it into the most inconvenient spot available and that is super annoying! So mine is on an extension cord, but I don't appreciate the company being too cheap and lazy to make the plug humanely. The other thing is not just for this stepper elliptical but probably all of them. Never was height or angle talked about. You need to position this properly but you also have to be positioned properly. If you're vertically-challenged (uh, short) like many of us are, this is not as easy as it seems. The height is not adjustable, nor is mine, so I have to find the right chair and position and distance the machine according to my needs. Turns out that's a lot of work and effort so I was able to put off my workout that day. But make sure you consider ahead of purchase where the tiny plug can go and how you can reach it comfortably. The machine does come with a piece of nonslip stuff that's often used as shelf liner to keep your dishes from sliding. I haven’t used it because I put the machine on carpet and it sticks like glue. I can't even push it much so it's very stable here. I can't say about that small square of rubber shelf liner stuff. This review is honest based on my use, perceptions and flights of fancy, and I hope it helped you decide whatever or at least gave you more questions to help you make your excellent choice. Just because I'm happy with this purchase doesn't mean it's right for you -- do your due diligence and then buy it, lol!! Get moving and you might feel better! BTW, if your knees are iffy, start slow for just a minute or two several times a day and you can build up to more without causing pain. That worked for me!

What we like about the exerciser is that it is easy paced and my husband (89 )and I (88) can both use it and I might add comfortably. Our plan (which we have already started), is to start out on the lowest setting and work our way up. We have also started at 20 minutes for workout and both have had no issues. We love that we are able to be getting a bit of exercise daily now. The exerciser appears to be well made and it's very quiet. Smooth glide pedals are nice and no effort on our part is needed. The machine does it all. We would give the machine 5 stars. It is perfect for us and we are happy to have it.

This exerciser is great!! Not just for the legs but also for the arms and upper body exercises. It has multiple levels of cycling speeds and stretch band for your arms. You can combine the exercise routine or do them separately. I feel so much better after my easy does it work out.

Nothing difficult to set up nor operate. Once you set equipment to your specific level/pace, Sit and pedal manually or automatic on varying levels. Have a newspaper, iPhone, tablet, tv, music handy and before you know it time has elapsed;-). Have Used it daily. Legs knees feel great with no issues using this. Not difficult to operate with minimal noise level. Hardy and sturdy. Equipment is a tad heavy to lift but overall Good value. Remote is handy. Two drawbacks:: 1) feet will slip off pedals if pedaling too fast so straps come in handy 2)electrical cord could be a bit longer NOTE:: Abt feet sliding off pedals issue, if you go shoeless wearing only socks, NO problem with slippage encountered. ;-). Also can use with bare feet to really feel the nodes on pedals. Still using daily. Started level 12 in June twice a day. Hubby has been using since June daily as well. Amazing

Great machine, use several times a day, I have peripheral artery disease and my legs always hurt, using this keeps my blood flowing and helps with the pain, this one is not as expensive as some of the others but does the same thing as they do. No noise at all, surprised me how quiet it is, great having a remote, definitely a value for the money!!
