Good for therapists working with dissociation
This is a short book with lots of useful cartoons to illustrate the concepts described for working with trauma clients who dissociate some or all of the time. Sandra Paulsen is very experienced and a good teacher ( from my experience of a recent workshop) and pleasantly eccentric - her poodles and horses are present during therapy! She has some really important messages for people working with trauma and dissociation and her description of exact verbal communications with the various parts I found particularly helpful. The cartoons definitely support the text nicely. I am not sure that this is a book for clients or family but the author believes so.

Lovely metaphoric cartoons drawed by Sandra do this book easy to understand and to work with. A lot of deep information compressed and iis easy understandable for professionals.

Most helpful text on this topic I have read to date !!
Very helpful, well written by a therapist who has fully researched this topic and has a wealth of practical experience. Thank you Sandra.

Very unstructured
Although it may seem like a book full of cartoons etc mght be structured, I found it quite unstructured including the therapy. I work with dissociative clients and use much more simpler methods with good results. I think replicating these might be difficult and I must confess I did not read beyond half way as I found it quite chaotic.

Tackles a difficult subject well - helpful for advanced trauma therapists
Great book, but I am slightly biased as I have invited Sandra over to the UK for the last 2 years to give workshops! She is talking about this book in Oct 2016 in London. Google me for more info.
