Only problem with living in the desert southwest is lots of sun and that sunlight can really heat things up. Even an already-insulated garage door. It registers between 108-114 degrees, depending on the time of day and angle of the sun to the door. This morning was 108.7. The areas covered already registered 85.3. That's massive and my garage mini-split AC unit is finally able to keep up with the heat. Very satisfied with the product. Don't hesitate on this one. Stupid simple to install and packaged in such a way that the kit is truly all you need to complete the project. I decided to do a few things a bit differently, but it works better for my particular situation. Still highly functional. I'll probably save upwards of $60-90/m on my electric bill this summer. That's far more in savings that the cost of the kit, which is already well worth it.

We wanted a radiant barrier type of insulation rather than foam. Much more efficient and looks better. We completed the installation, with my wife helping, in about 5 hours. Easy to follow instructions and included everything. The tape is very strong and hope that with the heat it will not loose its adhesion. Before and after pictures attached show in process. We did vertical tape too and ran out. I contacted Michael directly and he sent out another roll that day N/C. And no questions. With 95 degree temperatures and direct sun for 7+ hours, it really keeps the temperature down inside the garage. We highly recommend this productAfter having installed the product for a few days, noticed that some drooping of the panels to the adhesive tape. Decided to add self tapping hex head 9/16 inch heck screws with number 10 washer to assist in holding the panels to the door. This was a quick and easy fix. Maybe the heat caused it to not adhere completely. now is 100% sealed.

We had an energy audit done by our energy provider. One of the recommendations was to insulate our garage door. I did lots of research and we decided on this one due to energy factor and how it installs. However, my husband decided not to go with the double sided tape method that came with the kit due to his arthritis issues and how long it would take to do each panel. He just decided to use duct tape to hold the panels up. May not look as "pretty" as using the two sided tape but it works and was less stressful on his joints.I have been watching the temperature in the garage on a temperature monitor we have in our kitchen. Even during the very cold spells it has been staying much warmer in there than it has in the past. I have two hibiscus shrubs in there and one of them is putting on some more blooms so between the southerly window and the insulation, I think it has helped it to do that.

I definitely like the product itself. Good quality and fairly easy to install. But what I like most would have to be the customer service and response from the team when I had a question or issue. I’m hey were prompt and willing to help. I have a third car garage which was an add on and unfortunately/fortunately this means the door is bigger than your traditional panel. I had five rows vs the traditional four rows. I wrote the company and they had no problems helping find a solution. I could t be more pleased. I definitely give them a 5 out of 5.

Performs as detailed. I think that the tape could be better quality. I suggest ordering more tape as there is only enough to make the horizontal runs and taping the verticals makes a better insulation.

Great kit and the insulation works well, but the mounting tape only lasted 2 weeks. Despite cleaning both the garage door and the insulation before mounting, the tape stays firmly stuck to the door, but the insulation is coming unstuck and simply falling off after just 2 weeks. I'm going to have to totally start over with better double sided tape.

The media could not be loaded. The Double sided tape provided is hard to work with. It takes sooooo long just to peel the transfer tape off, it made installation take FOREVER. The setup lasted about 1.5 weeks, then the insulation just fell off my garage doors because this tape was horrible. I now need to try and attach the product with 3M Double Sided tape but it’s EXPENSIVE given how much tape you need to affix all this insulation. I can’t even return this stuff now, because I waited a few weeks to install it and now I’m passed my return window. I’m really unhappy with how this entire situation turned out.
