As good as original battery at less than half the cost. Easy installation, took a minute to swap batteries. This is a higher mAh so it runs longer than the original as I expected.

This replacement battery was easy to install and fit my Dyson V8 perfectly. The package included everything needed for installation, including filters and screws, which was a nice bonus. After replacing the old battery, my vacuum had noticeably improved runtime and strong suction performance. It charges properly and has been working reliably for everyday cleaning tasks around the house. The installation process was straightforward and only took a few minutes. For the price, it’s a great alternative to buying a more expensive replacement directly from the manufacturer. The item arrive on the same day, super quick. It come with the screw driver and extra screws if you missed any. The manual is just printed on the box with picture, very straightforward. Also the extra two filters come with the battery are very helpful and easy to replace. Just put on for 1 day and the battery is very powerful on the intial use, will report or update after using for a while.

Easy install. But (more importantly) this fixed what I thought was a broken vacuum. My v8 absolute stopped working on max suction approximately 1yr after purchasing it. At the 1.5yr mark, it started overheating during use after only a few minutes even on regular suction. I had kept up with cleaning and swapping filters, etc. I started attempting to get ahold of Dyson CS and after way more effort than it should ever take to contact a company about a warranty claim, I got a hold of them… Unfortunately, their solution was to send me a new body/housing/motor piece… and it took so long to get ahold of them that they didn’t send that part out until right before my warrant expired… so I received the part and confirmed it didn’t fix anything, but by then it was past my warranty’s expiration date so I was unable to get them to attempt to actually resolve the issue. I then spent the following year cursing Dyson as a brand and swearing I’d never buy one again. That’s because their cs is absolutely awful, and (every time, on regular suction, after only a few minutes of use) I’d have to go back to the charger to pop it on and back off to reset the overheat error to allow me to continue vacuuming. The battery would still show as 2-3bars (66-100%) remaining, but apparently the battery had degraded so badly that it was causing overheating/under-powering issues, and the only way to get it to resume functioning was to pop it on and off the charger to reset the built in protections. One day it set me tf off (more than usual) and I vented to Claude about it… who recommended I try replacing the battery instead of trashing the Dyson and buying a different brand of cordless vacuum… I figured I’d give that a shot and just return it if it didn’t resolve the issue… Not only did this new battery resolve the overheating/under-powering issues on regular suction, but it also brought back max suction functionality. Not only that, but — thanks to the battery capacity being approximately 3x that of the original Dyson battery — I also can now vacuum my entire freaking home without losing even a single bar of battery. I’m in love with this vacuum again, like I was for the first year of owning it. TLDR: This battery was reasonably priced, especially since it’s 3x the capacity, and since it also came with additional filters, along with screws and a screw driver to uninstall/install the new battery. It was much cheaper than buying a new cordless vacuum that I couldn’t afford anytime soon. And Claude provides better cs than Dyson does for their own products. My house is spotless again and I’m back to borderline enjoying running the vacuum on a regular basis. Thank you EGR. 🫡

I’ve been needing a new battery for my 7-year-old Dyson Animal V8 and came across this one. I’m so glad I decided to give it a try! It fits my Dyson perfectly and saved me the cost of having to buy a whole new vacuum. I also love that it came with a new filter, which was a nice bonus. So far, I’m very happy with the quality and performance. Great value for the price and a much more affordable way to extend the life of my Dyson!

Nothing better than having the exact part for your Dyson vacuum I have the animal yeah you heard it right the animal it’s a portable vacuum with a failing battery not anymore. This battery fit perfect V8 of wonderfulness. I love it and you will too. It charge right up. It will suck your eyeball out if you want to. Well not really but sounds kind of good thank you China for the best part in the world to make my Dyson From England work beautiful nothing made here in the US anymore, but I’m 87 years old and I’m not crying about it. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. The old battery had died and this one works, and was easy to install. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that I'm skeptical of the 9000 mAh rating. The original battery was 2800 mAh. With the new battery the runtime on Max Suction is just about twice as long. I don't know if there's electrical math formulas that I'm not aware of, but I would have guessed that over three times the capacity would equal three times the run time. In any case, double is good and the price seemed fair.

So glad I found this vs buying a new vacuum or buying the OEM battery. It fits perfect and keeps a charge for a LONG time. Lasts forever before needing a charge. Love it.

Posso pulire tutta la casa senza interruzioni, ho decido di acquistarla perche ormai l'originale non reggeva più e mi stava dando problemi. Ottima qualità e compatibilità perfetta. In più, il kit include 3 filtri extra, anch'essi utilizzati e perfetti per sostituire gli originale vecchissimi. Dopo averlo utilizzo, il Dyson funziona benissimo senza cali di potenza. Consigliatissima per chi cerca un ricambio affidabile e duraturo!

I bought the EGR 7000mAh 21.6V replacement battery for my Dyson V8 Absolute after the original battery started dying mid-clean. This one brought my vacuum back to life! Just replaced the old battery and filter on my old Dyson which was bought 6 years ago, and I'm so glad I did! The installation was super easy-took only a fow minutes. My old battery was worn out and barely lasted 5 minutes, but after changing it, the suction power is back to strong and it runs for a long time again. The filter also fits perfectly. Feels like this replacement brought my Dyson back to life-totally worth it

Ho un immortale Dyson V8 per cui cambio periodicamente filtri e spazzole. Ogni 2/3 anni però si rende necessaria una sostituzione del pacco batterie (utilizziamo l'aspirapolvere quasi tutti i giorni). Questo kit ha tutto, ovviamente la batteria ma anche i filtri - identici agli originali! L'installazione è piuttosto semplice, basta rimuovere un paio di viti (nel pacco ci sono anche quelle di ricambio in caso e un piccolo cacciavite a croce) e il gioco è fatto. Sulla durata della batteria per il momento mi ritengo pienamente soddisfatto. Venivo da una 5000mah e questa è da 7000mah, con praticamente lo stesso ingombro. Nel caso dovessi notare cali di prestazione e durata inaspettati aggiornerò la recensione.
