Although this isn't right at the top end of expensive knives, it's certainly not cheap. However. it is worth the money, being well made and nicely balanced. It is very long though at nearly a foot - too long for me really, and it only just fits in my knife drawer. I like the fact that it has a rounded end for safety, while the blade itself is extremely sharp when it arrives. It comes in a nice gift box and if you know somebody who would like to practice their chef-ing skills, this would make a nice present.Overall, this is a very nice knife, but it's also very long.

Good quality for the price. Wood handle, triple rivet full tang. The blade is non serrated. Serrated blades tend to tear the meat and release the juices. Recommended.

I was offered this knife on the Amazon Vine programme so ordered it out of curiosity. The key thing to note is that while its styled like a Japanese knife its made in China. The knife comes in a lively box so would make a nice gift. Considering the long blade and wooden handle, it’s not very heavy. The listing seems quite confused about what the knife is intended for. Personally its on the long side for me so I’ll be leaving to my husband for cutting roast joints.
