Love this thing! Being honest I did have an issue, but GT has resolved my issue in a timely matter. Love the auto retract, though it’s worth mentioning it can be a bit finicky. Regardless it’s usually easy to re guide it so it’s not a big deal.

This vacuumIs beautiful hanging on the wall unfortunately it is a 388 dollar ornament. The suction power is weak. Cannot even pull cobwebs off a wall I. The garage. Tried vacuuming car with it and not the power to handle it. My old roll around wet vac is a much better option at a much better price. I do not recommendUpdate once I submitted review Giraffe tools contacted me through Amazon and sent a new unit. I was skeptical but it arrived in just three days. I didn’t have much faith but I was wrong. Replaced unit and the new one works great. Great suction first one must have just been a dud. This new unit is amazing like night and day. Customer service was awesome

The remote power feature is great. The unit comes with and without the power switch on the handle. The unit is easy to install as long as you read all the directions. The suction is very strong, and when compared to a shop vac, it is much stronger. I can already see how this will save significant time.

Packaged very well . Wall brackets to hang the unit were heavy duty . Not sure why it’s not a piece hanger rather than a 2 piece separate hanger . The plastic tool holder accessory is very cheap , the part that snaps into it doesn’t stay on to hold the longer extension pieces .After installing and using for the first time the reel felt really tight to pull out , didn’t lock the first couple times and then finally locked in place . First thing I tried was to suck a leaf off the garage floor , it would pick it up but wouldn’t actually suck up the leaf . The unit itself has a remote head and without touching the off button the unit will just shut off on its own . For the money that we paid I certainly am not satisfied . A better price point for this unit would be $159.00 . I’ll keep it for small jobs like sucking up saw dust or metal shavings , but to actually shop vac a dirty vehicle or clean a garage floor it simply isn’t powerful enough . Value definitely doesn’t match the quality . That’s a shame too because I was wanting to purchase the giraffe reel for my power washer .Update * after voicing my dissatisfaction with the giraffe wall vac the company repeatedly tried contacting me to offer a full refund of the product and even asked me to keep it . They found the value of the sale in the critical feedback of improving there products .I respect this and will continue to purchase from this company as there enhance there products in the future . Help support company’s like this that truly care in the satisfaction of their customers .

This has to be the best garage vacuum I have ever had! Super easy to clean, always ready for action and the retractable hose is such great help in the garage. I can clean the car and the laundry room and anything in the garage instantly and easily.One word of caution is the automatic shut down is super sensitive so any restriction in the flow for several seconds can cause the unit to shut itself off. Not a big problem just need to be aware when it happens to work out, whatever is binding in the line. It happens to all vacuums that are utility use.

It’s an okay vacuum at best, I do like all the attachments that it comes with. The idea of the product is great but the execution just isn’t there yet. It has a a leak at the head and will do what other said and use duct tape to make the suction better. I would compare this on par with my battery craftsman vacuum. Nowhere near the suction of my rigid vacuum. Will be returning the product. Maybe in another generation it’ll be there.

Good suction with lots of good attachments. Long hose works well. Have had it since Nov 2024 and still works great. Love how it just is so easy and quick to vacuum out cars now. Love the on off switch on the handle. Definitely a good feature.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:To say that the instructions to mount the vacuum to the wall were at best incorrect would be an understatement. For starters, it says to use "a 12mm Drill Bit''...I went to many hardware stores and they laughed when I asked for a metric drill bit. NO ONE CARRIED THEM!! So I got the next size down which was 15/32" and $11.99 later--I drilled the hole and inserted the supplied anchor. It went right thru the hole and into the wall. I placed a call to the number on the instructions and was at least pleasantly surprised that someone answered on a Saturday morning. The guy proceeded to tell me that he's been asking Giraffe Tools to FIX THIS MISTAKE for MONTHS as he's gotten a lot of calls from very frustrated buyers like myself.After getting the correct hole size from the person on the help line AND having to move the bracket up a few inches because the holes were too big--I inserted the anchor into that hole and proceeded to screw the bolt they provided into the anchor. It was WAY TOO BIG!! It literally destroyed the anchor. To say I was angry would be an understatement. To be truthful, after finally getting the vacuum onto the wall after going back to the hardware store to buy some decent anchors--the vacuum worked great. As a car enthusiast, I cannot say at this point that I would ever trust Giraffe Tools again to outfit the rest of my garage given the fact that they could not even get the instructions correct.
