Stone Promises: A Stone Brothers Novel

Chad is a Hollywood star and by chance he meets his childhood best friend Mallory who he hasn't seen for nine years. Chad, Mallory and Julian were a trio of friends, but after Chad moved away and was made a star he lost contact with his friends. Chad wants a chance with Mallory, but there are several hurdles to get past. Several people really don't want these two to get together and they even use some dirty tricks.I definitely shed tears reading this book!I really love the Stone brothers trilogy and I definitely love that there are close ties and cameos from the Mitchell sisters series.I actually read these books out of order first, but since then I have read all of them in chronological order at least twice.

There wasn't much of a plot. A love story that nothing big happens. Sure it's nice to see the romance. But from the get go they love each other. There is not much build up.

I liked how Chad and Mallory were friends long before they became lovers. Their childhood friendship formed a bond that even circumstances couldn't break. There was also an element of forgiveness there that showed just how mature both Chad and Mallory had become. They didn't just hop into the sack once they started dating and that showed their commitment to making the relationship work this time. As per most books, there are factors that try and come between them but they come out stronger in the end. A great read with a HEA.

I just started reading Samantha Christy books, and I like them. I’m backwards, I started with the Stone Brothers and I am not disappointed at all. Chad or Thad as known by his fans is an actor. Mallory is forth grade school teacher. They have been friends since she was six years old. Now all grown up and life happens but there love remains the same. Lots of love, laughs, suspense and drama. Excellent story.

Sometimes a person is in a bit of a mood when they pick up a new book and it wouldn't matter if it was by Shakespeare. When I read this book I couldnt really concentrate on the pages, so I can only give a three star review.This story of the film actor and his childhood sweetheart had its ups and downs, and tended to drag in some places. I thought I'd got away without the obligatory stalker that makes an appearance in all the actor/singer stories that I read but, no, the stalker was there towards the end in this book.There were a host of characters, probably ones from other books. The dialogue flowed fluidly. The paIr loved each other fiercely, right from beginning of book.

We met at a young age and he protected me at the bus stop. The Stone family always protect the under dog. Our friend Julian,Chad and myself become tight and help each other until chad has to move. I’m heartbroken, but life moves on and changes...some for the better and some for the worst. We all move on with the bumps in the road,joys and changes. Enjoy the ups & downs...& Love.

There are 3 books in this series- In this book the main characters are Chad (thad) and Mallory. He stood up for her when he was 7 and she was 6. She has been in love with him since. He moves away when he is 16 and it breaks her heart. Chad becomes a star and his stage name is Thad- At an awards ceremony he sees Mallory. He tracks her down to see if their love is still there. I definitely recommend this 3 book set.

At least I wasn’t a blubbering mess with this book, but I still had some moments of shock & a little heartbreak. Chad & Mallory are so perfect. The deep love they had for each other even from childhood couldn’t be smothered. They went through so much to be together & they deserved every bit of happiness they received. The things Chad overcame to be the man Mallory deserved, and what she went through, yet she still had the level and compassion & love to be able to accept Chad...just heart warming. I loved their love story, so many moments of swoon ❤️

A great romantic story of a love that evolved from the age of six and developed into an àll encompassing love that stands the test of time and beyond. Three school friends who thought they would be together through life, but with Chad's family moving away and Becoming a big movie star and lost touch with his past which severed the friendship. So coming back after à long time brought back à painful reminder of what hé left behind and the one person that is always in his thoughts and a chance glimpse or her at one of his film previews jolts him back to the past and a longing to see the one girl who fills his dreams. His friend Julian who Chad also lost touch with was equally annoyed with him and who dated Malorey for a while but her heart was elsewhere with à famous film star and would never look at her twice. But how wrong she was, because his heart only belonged to her. This story is the coming together of two halves of à whole love, with all the upsets with leading ladies in Chads films and his constantly Busy film schedule and the element of trust to sustain his busy lifestyle, their new relationship was strained at best, but their love for each other was the saving grace. Thé author captures their love for each other so vividly with the little things they would for each other. It makes one wish they could have that all encompassing love for themselves too. Great read.

Mallory and Chad were best friends when they were kids. The hung around with a third, Julian and they were inseparable.Years later and reality is a totally different thing. People grow up and move on and that’s exactly what Chad did, leaving Mallory and his childhood behind. Chad becomes a famous actor and has done really well for himself but in the back of his mind, he can’t quite forget his crush, Mallory.He really regrets not keeping in contact with both Mallory and Julian and a chance encounter thrusts Chad and Mallory back into each other’s lives again.Chad wants her and will do anything to prove to her that he’s not going anywhere again but Mallory finds it hard to believe him or trust him.It’s not a bad story to be honest. The story flows nicely but I found it hard to feel anything for the characters at times. The chemistry between them didn’t flow as much as I thought it could do but apart from that I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I think it deserves a four star rating as it did keep me reading and I did want to know how the story was going to end.The chemistry just could have been better.

Just finished reading "Stone Promises" the tears are still rolling.. what a beautiful love story.Chad and Mallary have loved each other since they were 6 and 7 years old but fame and cocaine split them up when Chad became an actor and addicted to drugs. For 9 years Mal was all but forgotten.Mal always loved Chat (Thad) but would never forgive him for leaving her. 9 years later she sees him and he sees her... Will they remember the love they had for each other or will his new lifestyle prove to be more important?There is so much more I can say about this book but I really cannot without giving to much away so you will have to read it for yourself. It's truly memorable and beautiful.I love that Samantha has a duel P.O.V for the characters. This book is full of suspense...loads of humour... amazing love scenes...and so much more. I rate this 5 ❤ because it's that good.

I've put of reading this book for ages and i have no idea why! It was great, i thoroughly enjoyed it all. Not once did the hero or heroine make me wasn't to bang my head against the wall with their stupidity. I loved them both.

Samantha Christy just keeps churning out these heartfelt and romantic novels that never fail to sweep you up in the emotion of the story. I loved Chad and Mallory's book which was sweet and romantic with a side of sizzle! They had such a sweet and solid bond once they moved beyond their rocky beginning and I didn't want to put this book down!
