As others have shown, this switch is a drop-in replacement on certain Mr. Coffee models. Unplug pot. Remove a handful of screws from bottom to expose the failed switch. Squeeze the tabs holding the switch in place and remove it from the housing. One-at-a-time, remove the three wires by lifting the tab on each lug connector (fingernail will do it). Making sure the wires pass through the housing to the replacement switch, "click" them in place. We do this one-at-a-time to ensure the wires end up on the same terminal of the replacement switch. Then, snap the replacement switch back into the housing, re-install the half-dozen or so screws, plug pot in, toggle switch to the ON position, observe it lights. Check for warmth on the burner - will heat up rapidly so don't hold your hand on it after you start to feel warmth.

I was able to replace a switch on my coffee machine, but the first replacement only lasted 2 weeks before the plastic bumps that act as the hinge point gave up and the switch fell apart. Fortunately, there were others and my second replacement has lasted for months so far and my fingers are crossed!

I bought these to replace the rocker switch on my electric fireplace. Hooked up the connectors, plugged in the fireplace and was good to go! Worked perfectly!!

I used these switches to build a 110V power strip for the additional A/V devices on my desk. The Left switch is a master switch and is wired to an outlet that a small TV is plugged into, the second controls a cable box, the 3rd is for a ROKU and the right most is for a DVD player. This way, I avoid "ghost currents" for devices I am not using at any given time. Also, turning off the master cuts the power for all of the devices. The fact that they are lighted is a good visual to what has power at any given time.

I got these switches for a power supply that I've built.These units have little clips that are supposed to compress as you press the unit into location and then expand, locking the it in position. The clips are poorly engineered and built, and mine broke immediately. However a couple of dabs of E6000 saved the day.If you're a purist, don't get these, but if you don't care about using a little none corrosive glue to hold your switch in position, then, at the price, you can't go wrong.

Worked well to fix a few of my portable heaters i use to warm up the basement. The plastic pins that hold the button locked in place though could be more solid since the bend a little too easy and make the button come loose. Good thing i bought a 5 pack.

Bought this single-pole, single-throw (SPST) illuminated switch to replace the factory-original switch on my mini oil-filled heater. Nearly identical to the original switch, it fit into the same hole in the heater and works perfectly.
