A lot lower price than Dyson want and so far, it's living up to it's stated capacity. Easy to fit and works well.

At half the price of a Dyson battery from their official website this represents excellent value for money. Installation takes just a couple of minutes and involves the removal and replacement of three small screws. The original battery just pulls out and the new one just slips perfectly into place. It comes with 2 new filters as well, which is an added bonus. My vacuum cleaner now feels like new. Excellent value for money.

I had been worried that our Dyson was dying as it kept cutting out on max. But with a 4yr old battery thought I'd give this a try. Took me 5 minutes to change this plus the filters - the wee booklet is clear enough you don't need to look up how to to it. Unscrew 3 screws, remove, replace, put in 3 screws. Couldn't be easier. The Dyson (v7 animal) works as good as new. Glad I gave this ago rather than getting an expensive repair!

Ordered this as a replacement of the exhausted original Dyson V8 Animal battery. Main reasons were a good price and higher capacity than original/other options. Therefore, overall the best option when it comes to value for money to start with.Delivery was extremely fast.Had the battery for about 2 weeks now and so far so good. The charge holds well and all works as expected. That said, it is, obviously, too early for overall conclusion. I would expect, also based on some previous reviews, that the batter will last somewhat less than the original, but given the higher capacity and lower price it works out to either cost on par or better than original. (did the match considering price+capacity+expected longevity(assuming half of original battery's)).

Fits perfectly.. works perfectly...Additionally they give a filter and other accessories...I believe this has more capacity than the original..My original stopped holding charge in less than 3 years - Dyson asked £65 for this.. so this is around 1/3rd the cost of the original and cant see it any different - hope it lasts 2 years (they give a 2 year warranty so thats good).Only thing that they can do better is maybe give the screwdriver for this as its a bit fiddly to remove using my kit.

Terrible battery only worked for a few months and now doesn’t even last a minute. Contacted their support and didn’t get a response after trying twice. Not worth the money.

Our old Dyson was getting to the point it was un-useable. Upgraded to this about 4 months ago. Still going strong and Dyson back on every day use for the quick clean up. (Deals with our long haired cat and the amount of hair she shreds daily.)

The battery died on my dyson, it wouldn't go on for more than a few minutes without it losing power on the max setting. I decided to try this battery out and see if it would make a difference and it actually surprised me, it lasted a whole lot longer, even more than the original, would recommend this one if you're looking to replace the original battery
