Badee Al Oud (Oud for Glory) EDP spray 100ml by Lattafa

This perfume really surprised me. In the first 10 minutes, you can clearly notice different notes coming through. At first I could smell saffron, then lavender, and later patchouli. It keeps changing, which makes it interesting and unique. After it settles, the fragrance becomes warm and very attractive. It has a confident, bold vibe that makes you feel powerful when you wear it. I personally like it a lot. The performance is also impressive. On my skin, it easily lasts more than 10 hours, depending on the temperature. If you’re looking for something strong, long-lasting, and with a boss-like presence, I would definitely recommend this one.

Okay so it’s a fraction of the price of the original. Should you buy it? Is it actually worth it? Does it really smell as good as the reviews say? I’m fortunate to have both the original by Initio and when placed side by side there’s a major difference. The strength depth and blending of the initio OFG is far superior, with Longevity as huge as its projection. This clone by Lattafa does smell similar. To the untrained or novice schnozzle it will smell so similar you’d be hard pressed to tell them apart. Is it worth it? Yes absolutely! It’s so close you can enjoy the scent of the original to about 85%. It’s perfect for everyday. Doesn’t break the bank, nor offend if you overspray it because it’s strength I’d say is a 4 compared to the initio’s 10. Longevity is a few hours. Not many hours or days even if sprayed on clothes. I like it. It’s good value. It smells good. Best of all it’s always on discount which makes even more scents (get it?) to go buy it. You may like it enough to buy the original! Just don’t go spraying that by the same amount you would this or you may get everyone vacating the 3 mile radius around you! Enjoy.

Delivery was smooth and can’t fault the seller. Packaging is nice, for those who care about that stuff. Fragrance: Woody, Smokey and heavy but delicious. Very very oudy and very in your face. This is a night out or dressed up or classy affair(lunch/dinner). Not for day to day wear (it may annoy/irritate anyone that isn’t use to oud. Very masculine definitely a head turner. Women: if you are going for bold/bossy/ dominant/ spicy vibe with your outfit-definitely the one. If you’re a girly girl not for you at all. It isn’t for every woman. I have mixed this with more feminine scent and it was a winner. Last very long on clothes but on the skin I would say 5-6 hours. The dry down is very nice

First off the box is exquisite 👌 the bottle is stunning nice contrast of black and gold, the bottle has a fair weight to to and is a nice fit in my hand. The lid as daft as it sounds had a weight to it. The pump action is spot on nice pressure to the spray and a wide spray pattern too. The fragrance itself....... wow the wife loves it. First blast you smell a strong musk, but then there's a undertone of lavender, saffronand then a hint of nutmeg. The initial tone is very strong but calms down within a few seconds. I wpuld say this is a very manly aftershave. Honestly well worth the money but this is just my opinion as we're all different

I love this fragrance. To me, it does not smell similar to oud for greatness, maybe similar in the air. Oud for greatness is more refined, worked on and has a stronger lavender note throughout the whole journey of the fragrance, which I love. Oud for glory has less layers and doesn’t unveil the lavender note at the base. However, if I had to buy either one. I would choose oud for glory. Obviously the price tag is much easier on the pockets but in regards to scent I prefer this one more. It’s sweeter that oud for greatness so leans more feminine although this would work for both men and women. You just have to smell it, it smells really good. Longevity, oud for greatness and oud for glory don’t seem to last long on MY skin. They may last longer on others. I like scents that project and fill up a room, this does that but only very early on. I probably get about a good 2 hours of projection before it becomes a personal scent that only myself and people very close to me would smell- the personal projection lasts for maybe 5 hours. Overall, I would buy this again. I would also buy it over oud for greatness- I don’t need to spend £200 more just for a lavender note and neither should you

The product arrived timely and smells as expected. However, I cannot help but notice that the signet sticker is a bit different and leaving me with a scare it may be counterfeit. The scent I put on my shirt has lasted though, at least 17hrs now. To the left is my previous pack, on the right is the recent one. Judge for yourself.

Great value. Decent clone to Initio Oud For Greatness. A bit harsh in the opening but the drydown gets better and better. Excellent projection and longevity as well. The presentation is impeccable.

Este Badee Al Oud (Oud for Glory) es, sin duda, el perfume con mayor duración que he tenido nunca. Lo usé por primera vez por la mañana y seguía notándose claramente en la ropa ¡dos e incluso tres días después! Una auténtica locura. En piel también tiene un rendimiento brutal, fácilmente más de 12 horas sin perder intensidad. El aroma es potente, oscuro, con ese toque oriental y misterioso que te envuelve desde el primer momento. Tiene carácter, no pasa desapercibido, y lo veo ideal para ocasiones especiales, cenas, eventos o simplemente cuando te apetece destacar. Eso sí, yo lo reservo para días frescos o temporadas más frías, porque con calor puede resultar demasiado intenso. En cuanto a la calidad-precio, es difícil encontrar algo que le compita. Huele a perfume de gama alta, con una estela duradera y una proyección muy generosa. Eso sí, no es para todo el mundo: si buscas algo suave o discreto, este no es el tuyo. En resumen: una bestia en duración, elegante y con mucha personalidad. Si te gusta el oud y los perfumes con presencia, este es una apuesta segura. Yo ya lo tengo como uno de mis imprescindibles.

Lattafa Amethyst I like this scent a lot. To me it smells like equal parts dry incense-type woods and dry roses. Over time the roses slowly fade and the woods seem less dry. It's kind of dark and mysterious and it appeals to the goth girl in me. I can see this being nice on a man as well. On my skin it lasts half a work day, on my clothes it lasts around 24 hours. I think 2 sprays is the maximum I would wear because it can be kind of strong. The box it came in is a nice presentation like a gift. The bottle feels solid and heavy and looks nice on my shelf. The atomizer gives a good fine mist in the air. When I first received my bottle it was already leaking from where the atomizer collar attaches to the bottle. It would leak every time I sprayed until I had used enough that the liquid level lowered a bit. It doesn't seem to leak anymore, but the finish on the outside of the bottle is a little damaged from it. Also, this had to macerate for at least 3 months and continued changing slightly for over 6 months. The first spray was hideous - like gasoline, melting plastic, and rubber. It was a blind buy and I was heartbroken. But I was hopeful. I did one spray into the sink every few days and after a month I started to smell something perfume-like under the melting rubber stench. Over the next few months the terrible chemical smell faded away to reveal the scent I was hoping for. No regrets buying this. I used to wear it almost daily but then moved to a tropical climate so now I only wear it every month or so.
