Badass
I don't know what anyone could complain about these broadheads🤷🏽♂️OF COURSE i had to sight them in- broadheads don't fly like fieldpoints no matter the grain or whatever is advertised to "match" your broadhead. DUH. these were hitting 2inches to the right and 1inch down, easy adjustments. now I have not hunted with these yet; so if you're one of those guys, you can stop reading right here. But what I have observed is that from 40 yards these broad heads with carbon express pile, driver bolts, penetrated all the way through my phone target leaving a 1 inch hole in the front side and a 1 inch hole in the backside, and penetrated about 4 inches into an oak tree. How do use a hammer and chisel to get it out. As you can see from the photo that I included the only thing that it damaged was a roll on part of one of the cutting edges. Fantastic! I will give these 10 stars if I could. I know, I know, they haven't gone through a deer yet, but hell, after citing my bow in for broadheads (i use a center point sniper 385) I am extremely confident that taking down Deer will not be a problem.

Awesome broadheads
I was shooting Muzzy last year and I feel like the quality went down from previous years. I decided to try these G5's. Out of the box, they were super sharp, you can also thread a needle with how accurate they are. Super simple to sharpen them back up as well!

Love these!
These broadheads shoot as good as my field points on both bow and crossbow! I think the fact that the blades can not move helps in that regard. To sharpen, get a flat diamond stone made for this and simply sharpen two edges at a time, moving the broadhead side to side with a moderate amount of pressure - even I can do this, and I am perhaps the worst at sharpening. Takes about 5 minutes to sharpen each broadhead. So I use my hunting broadheads for practice and then quickly sharpen as needed. As far as price goes, I was never able to sharpen my other broadheads so I either had to buy new broadheads or spend a bit of money for new blades. Also, being able to get a good pass-thru shot means you are more likely to reuse the broadhead season after season - these broadheads help my accuracy. So in the long run these Montec's may prove to be less expensive.

Very Good Except Weight Tolerance
Pros: Excellent design and strong. Shot through a compressed hay bale and out the back of a 1/2 inch sheet of plywood with a 70# 29" bow and a 405 grain (total) arrow at 40 yards. After hammering it back out with a piece of PVC pipe, the broad-head was not only undamaged, but seemed as sharp as it started. Cons: Not especially sharp as delivered. And under-weight. I suspect they are 125 grain before sharpening. All 3 of mine were 121 to 122 grain. This will of course only get worse as I need to sharpen them, etc. Other: This design, with the honing angle determined by the triangle of the blades, produces a 60 degree edge (2 x 30 from the center line, or 1/3rd of 180 from the other direction). This is the angle used on axes and machetes. Chef's knives are around 40 degrees, and razors are around 30. So, the result is a broad-head that is extremely durable (like an axe) in exchange for losing razor edges.

Awesome cutband penetration
Got the 125 grain for my crossbow that shoots around 360 FPS with a 20" 390 grain bolt. As long as the fetching are lined up with the blades,it flies true at 20 and 30 yards. Haven't tried them farther out.
