Will not fast charge a Samsung Galaxy 8 Plus ...
I bought seven 90-degree magnetic charging cables with both USB C and micro USB tips. The magnets were so poor on all of them I couldn't rely upon them to charge my devices. So, my eighth try, I bought the TAiKOOL with the multi-tips then a single with the micro USB tip. All work and all have strong magnets. I haven't used the Apple tip.Magnet: The TAiKOOL has a great magnet. It's not 90-degrees but I am ok with that. I can use my devices while they are charging without the magnets separating. If your device is very light, like a phone (I have a Samsung Galaxy 8Plus, a big phone), the magnet is so strong it may not break-away if the cord is not positioned at an angle. I can drag my phone around the kitchen counter by the cord without the magnets separating. Since I want the magnetic tip only to protect the USB slots on my devices, the stronger magnet is a huge plus for me. The cord head finds the tip easily and can be attached without sight. The round head is also a big plus because it eliminates stress from the positioning of stiff cords that must be position a certain way. The tip is very small and does not protrude much from the device --- in fact, it's the smalled tip I have used so far.Charging a Samsung Galaxy 8Plus: Using a fast USB C charger with an additional standard USB port, it will not fast charge my phone. Each time, it states, "Incomplete connection" and I am giving a second message that the phone is slow charging. With the phone battery at 75%, it states it will take 1hr and 37min to fully charge (my phone will fully charge from 0% to 100% in that same time with my USB C to USB C 90-degree magnetic cord and the same wall adapter). Did it take 1hr and 37min? No, with wifi off and on Medium Power Saving, it took exactly one hour.Charging my Paperwhite and Fire: Does a great job and seems to charge it at the same rate as my other chargers. No error messages. It stays connected while I am reading.Although I prefer fast charging, I am happy with the magnet strength and I prefer using this cord at the moment (I don't use my phone much and I usually use MAX power saving mode). So now, I am looking for a USB C to USB C round head/tip charging cord.2 stars deducted for slow charging/error message on my phone.

FANTASTIC!!
This cord is EXACTLY what I needed!! There is nothing I would change about it. My son has broken numerous chargers by just bending them slightly while his tablet is plugged in. The other issue was unplugging it either by accident or on purpose but not being able to plug it back in. The Fire tablet has an ill placed charging port surrounded by every other button and the case’s dividers. It is difficult even for me and impossible in the dark. The tip of the cord stays plugged in all the time, lessening the chance of damaging the pins. It stays quite flesh with the case of the tablet, barely noticeable. The magnet isn’t VERY strong, but really you wouldn’t want it to be, because it would then pull out the connector, thereby making it pointless, may as well use a regular cord. The benefit is, if it is pulled off accidentally ANYONE could reconnect it, even in the dark. The led light stays lit as long as there is power to the cord, not just when it is connected to the device. I find this another benefit, as you can clearly see where the end of the cord is in low lighting. The magnet is strong enough, that if it is close to the connector, it pulls it together. With a traditional cord my son wouldn’t even attempt to reconnect it but with this one he had no trouble (he is 3.5yr). The cord is braided, thin, flexible, and short. I prefer a longer cord, but the longer the cord the quicker it breaks. My solution was to also buy an “amazon basics” female to male usb extender cord, much less bulky than using an extension power cord.I did see one reviewer complain they hadn’t received the 3 pack they had ordered, which comes with the micro, lightening, and usb-c adapters. I don’t know if this was the fault of amazon or an ordering mistake but there are quite a few options for purchase. You can get a cord with one of those adapter choices, a cord with all three, additional adapters of each, or a pack of all three with no cord.I am so pleased with this cord I plan on replacing all device cords with this one. Now we do have a history of cords wearing out quickly so I will update if this one does or does not surpass my expectations on this front. There is another brand that makes a similar cord but I chose this one because of the led light and a reviewer had said the other cord’s magnet wasn’t as strong as previous cords they had. If you’re thinking about this, get it. You won’t be disappointed, as long as you don’t expect a super strong magnet. As I stated, it would then just be a traditional cord.

Fast delivery and fast FAILURE! USB type-c dongle is useless
The package was delivered incredibly fast - sadly, all the positive aspects of this order End There! I have a USB type-c connection on my cell (and because of previously traumatic experiences with USB ports on phones I needed this potential solution to work). I was very excited to see that I did have all three connectors and immediately attempted to use to USB C connector on my phone to NO avail! The USB type-c connector does not work on my phone at all (and yes, I verified that it is Not my cell). I continued to try to figure out what the issue was ruling out my phones hardware, power port it was connected to, etc - until I arrive at the simple conclusion that this item sucks.Moving onto another of the 3 adapters it came with (since I don't have an iPhone then micro USB it is) allowed me to confirm that the cable does work just fine because the micro USB connector was working just fine.Problem is, I didn't get this to go on an item I rarely use! I am incredibly disappointed about the USB type-c connection because now I have a cable that doesn't make sense to use, another dongle thats useless to me(iPhone) and another broken one that taunts me daily. So if you're looking to use on USB type-c be weary!Update (August 3, 2019)So I figured I'd test it out on the micro USB tablet I have but rarely use to save myself the headache of another return to Amazon.Guess what? The magnetic connection continues to fail and it'll go on for hours magnetically connected but Not charging the device!! So upsetting! I want my money back. This sucks!*BUYER BEWARE! *
