Dementia Society of America's opinion ...
The folks at Memory Care Home Solutions seem to be doing very good work in the St. Louis area. Bravo! Their book is also good but has an over-abundance of Alzheimer's-specific references, and as such, unfortunately, greatly overweight the messaging for people that do not have AD, and instead have another type of disease causing the Dementia. Only one paragraph and one sentence reference any other possible forms of Dementia. That's a missed opportunity. However, worth a very quick read if you can get your hands on a copy at the library or elsewhere. - Kevin Jameson, Volunteer | President, Dementia Society of America
