Aidonger Local Lion Men's Canvas Satchel Bag Shoulder Bag retro Messenger Bag (Coffee)

I was offered this bag free of charge in exchange for a review.It's a really fabulous, top quality unisex messenger bag; heavy duty canvas, loads of pockets and features and I'm very impressed. It arrived next day and is beautifully presented. In addition to a dust bag, it's in a zip top Aidonge branded plastic bag. I like messenger style bags as I find them easy to carry comfortably. I have a few and this is definitely one of the best. The colour is what I'd call moss green. It's very subtle. The quality of the canvas is outstanding; it's a heavy duty canvas, very closely woven but it feels soft. Some heavy duty canvas can feel rough; this doesn't. The bag looks really good with a diagonal zip pocket on the front and another zipped pocket on the reverse. The metal zips are strong and the tags on the zipper make them easy to use. They look like leather tags and add to the appearance. The shoulder strap is broad and strong and, best of all, has an added shoulder pad. If you carry any bag for a while, the difference in the way a pad like this distributes the weight more evenly is appreciable. Means it's really comfortable and will reduce shoulder joint strain. The metal buckle makes it easily adjustable to a preferred length. It's a generous strap!A lot of thought has gone into the interior layout. It's well designed with full length zipped compartment making it very secure. When you lift the cover flap, the entire interior is zipped shut. Very difficult to lift anything from it so you can e assured that the contents are as secure as possible.There are further internal zipped pockets and stitched compartments and the quality of the lining, stitching and overall finish, throughout, is first class. The Zips are all smooth, free running and really robust. The capacity is great. It easily holds my tablet, securely, and I can put other items I want to carry securely in the zip pockets. Added to this, the bag can be washed and it looks like it'll last for years. In summary, it's a beautiful bag, classic design with numerous features and it's certainly one I'll use regularly for some time.

This is a great casual canvas satchel but it's possibly a bit small for a man and better suited to a woman. It's well-made in a weighty canvas and the zips are robust and run smoothly. The webbing strap is fully adjustable and the metal rings hefty and strong so this is ideal as a cross-body bag.The main inside compartment is zipped and fairly roomy but won't take an A4 binder. It's deep enough, though, for a bottle of water, and will fit a standard size hardback book. or a 10-inch tablet. There's a zipped pocket inside it, plus the usual holders for pens, phone, keys etc. There's also a smaller unzipped front pocket. It's a little disappointing that the front flap doesn't have any fastenings: it just flaps over and then lies loose. I live in London so couldn't put anything valuable in the unzipped front compartment without it being an open invitation to pick-pockets...Both the front flap and the back have a smaller zipped pocket, useful for anything you need to keep handy such as your Oyster card or phone.So, overall, this is a great satchel for a casual day: it's deceptively roomy but never looks bulky.I received a free product for review.

Don't be put off by the word 'Men's' in the description of this bag - yes, it is perfect for a man to carry, but I've actually nabbed this for myself. I'm a five foot tall woman and it's absolutely perfect for me too. It's really not overly large, or heavy to carry but has so many pockets and zipped compartments that it holds everything that I could need - including a book and an iPad mini.The quality is outstanding, the material is strong, thick and well-stitched. The zip fasteners are high quality and work well and the adjustable shoulder strap is a good width and easily adjusted.This is one of the best messenger bags that I've used. I love it.
