Have only used once so far, it took a little bit of manoeuvring in the coin slot to get the trolley to release.However this may just because I am used to pushing a coin in the slot and the trolley chain releasing automatically.Note - It is not the same thickness as a standard coin and is thinner.

Absolutely brilliant and so easy to use. I have rheumatism in my hand and struggle to get coins back out of shopping trolleys but this gadget comes out easily. Fast delivery from seller. I would definitely recommend this product.

So it is small and attractive so that’s nice. It works to unlock the trolley. However, it’s really difficult to pull it out - it takes lots of wriggling and pulling.
