I discovered Jennae on Instagram. The snippets of her poetry that she shares on her posts are thoughtfully written and almost instantly relatable to the reader.So much poetry I’ve read seems to be contrived, pretentious and mysterious. Jennae’s is not! This volume provides tips for self care and self confidence wrapped in simple, short, free verse. It’s perfect for those moments when you need to readjust your perspective.Would definitely recommend!

I was first introduced to Jennae and her beautiful words a little over a year ago when I received "Like a wallflower" as a gift. It was then that I became enthralled in all her work. Short, but full words that she has felt and readers can totally relate to in some way. Definitely worth reading!

Its a nice book, and the cover is beautiful, i like the concept of it, but not really a poetry book, more like thoughts in a booklet, i like it not terrible, but not poetry in my eyes. But i do like the concept of the book, the fact that it addresses anxiety and the author’s journey.

I Am More Than My Nightmares is a moving poetry collection about anxiety and fears. It is relatable and emotional. And although I’m not an expert in anxiety, I feel that it is represented very well. I hope to read more of Jennae Cecelia’s work in the future!

Simple, to the point poetry everyone has thought or felt at some point in life. As an anxious person l, it was quite familiar and comforting.

This book grasped me from the beginning. I struggle with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. This book helped me remember there is hope out there and to be kind to myself. Simply wonderful

Por ter ansiedade e depressão e estar em processo de recuperação de mim mesma, eu senti cada palavra, cada estrofe e me senti genuinamente poderosa, alegre e dona de mim mesma. Lembrei das dores, mas também lembrei que, mesmo quando consumida por elas, sou muito mais do que isso. Existe muito mais no mundo destinado para todes nós que sofremos com esse tipo de transtorno.Recomendo demais a leitura para reflexão e para se sentirem confortáveis em suas peles. This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever bought. I am going through a very low time in my life and it summed up in stunning profoundness my feelings. The stunning simplicity of the poems take you on a journey. They are tender, captivating in the way they sum up the deepest of feelings in the human spirit. I was made rich and read the book in one captivated sitting. It enriched my heart and I will be reading this book again and again. A great treasure. Thank you Jennae for this gift to us all. I love it. BUY THE BOOK. You will not be disappointed. It is a feast. It is a haven, a harbour, a friend to your soul. You will love it.

I don’t know what it is about Jennae’s books but I always read through them so quickly. I just want to absorb it all.I wish I could write such sweet, uplifting pieces as she does.I recommend this book to anyone who needs a little pick me up.
