Great Product
-The taste is kind of weird but it just takes a little getting used to. It's sort of salty tasting and not like traditional toothpaste but obviously this isn't normal toothpaste so don't expect it to be the same. -I found it easy to use and travel with. Never had any issues with it leaking in my bag. -The consistency got a little dry/clumpy towards the end but I just added a little bit of water and that seemed to do the trick. -As just one person using a moderate amount twice a day it lasted me 2.5 months. So after the math it is a little pricey compared to normal toothpaste but your paying for the sustainability and natural product. Overall I liked it and would recommend it as a great sustainable alternative! The only reason I'm not repurchasing at this time is because I personally need a toothpaste with fluoride in it right now but will likely get this again in the future!

Very salty but felt clean teeth. Somewhat messy.
Wanted to try something cleaner and this one wasn’t bad. It didn’t make my teeth sensitive but was very salty tasting. Not the easiest to use as you have to always stir it up and can be a bit messy. It did make my teeth feel clean but not worth the money to me with always having to mix and dip toothbrush or find something to put the toothpaste on toothbrush with. It didn’t burn.

Love the Taste and the Results !
I've been searching for a while for another toothpaste that would fit my needs, in particular one that was natural, had no fluoride and in a container I wouldn't have to cut open to get the last bit of toothpaste. Nelson Naturals is it ... I love the taste, just the little bit of saltiness is perfect. My teeth are whiter and they feel like I just stepped out of the dentist's office. Initially, I felt it was a bit too runny, but the more I stirred it, the consistency was where I needed it to be. I am using a small plastic spatula (from a makeup kit I had) to put the toothpaste onto my brush. Works great and I will be reordering this !

Theres something better for remineralization. Its called dead sea salt.
Super over priced don't get if you have the intention to remineralize your teeth, and I'll tell you why. Nelson's Naturals has regular sea salt and TRACE minerals as their active ingredient, this is a very gradual process and with the size and price of this "unit" good luck. I highly recommend getting a toothpaste that has DEAD SEA salt, it is packed with minerals way more than "trace" amounts. You can find dead sea tooth paste products for about the same price but in a much bigger container. This does taste good and feels nice to use however bit what is all what's its going for it it doesn't even have fluoride in it.

Don't waste your money
Worst toothpaste I have ever had in my life. The taste is disgusting and it doesn't leave your mouth feeling very clean, and it's way over priced. I would have given it a zero rating but it didn't let me.

Good product
The taste wasn't a complete shock and turn off like I've read in reviews before buying this product. It is a tad salty compared to the more common brands of tooth paste you probably grew up with. If you ever gargled with baking soda and water or brushed with baking soda the flavor probably wont bother you. Not a whole lot of foam but it get's your teeth clean, no complaints from the dentist. I do wish it was a little more affordable, I made this jar last a few months by switching to regular tooth paste a few days and then using this product another day...and i do use my finger to put the paste on my tooth brush rather than dipping which might have also helped make it last a little longer. I'm one person though, I can see a family of Four trying to use this product and it breaking the bank...which isn't something anyone should have to worry about when buying toothpaste while, trying to put the environment first. There was no problems with the jar drying up either...screw that lid on and you shouldn't have problems with it drying up. I love the packaging design and really wish other tooth paste brands would consider designs like this. I will probably buy again.

Get's the job done!
I love this toothpaste. I used to purchase it at my local eco-friendly store but they swapped it for another brand. This toothpaste tastes a bit bland but not overly sweet like most other standard toothpastes. It has a liquidly texture and it able to be mixed with a little water if it ever gets clumpy. Overall, I think I found the toothpaste I will stick with. I highly suggest trying it out, one jar lasts about 6 months.

If you can’t make your own try this out
Compared to commercial brand toothpaste this is much better. The only thing I don’t like about this product is that it turned to hard past towards the end of its use, making it hard to simply, dip and brush.

Better for you toothpaste.
I gave this brand a try for a few reasons: healthier to use, zero waste container, and supporting a Canadian business. Easy to use, and does a great job cleaning my teeth. Yes, the flavour will take some getting used to for those who have not brushed with baking soda before. While growing up, my mom had us brush with baking soda every so often, so it is nothing new to my taste buds. It's minty enough though, and a quick rinse with water after brushing helps. You don't need to use much, but for the price it would be nice to get a little more product. That being said, I'll pay for this better alternative to regular toothpaste, and hopefully overtime more customers will buy and improve economy of scale for the company. I have purchased another jar to give to my son. I'm looking forward to trying the other flavours.

Gross taste.
Way too salty and soapy tasting. Also very runny and you need to keep a spoon beside it to apply it to the toothbrush. Never thought of that when I was ordering. Gonna try and get a refund after one and use but do not recommend this at all. It’s gross terrible tasting crap.

The consistency change whit time
I really like all the concept! Eco-friendly, vegan, zero bad stuff. In the beginning, it's difficult to get used to the taste. The consistency change whit time, even if I close really hard the lid, In the end, the paste gets hard and it's difficult Extract it. I found the price is high. For now, I find is my only option. I'll try it again.

the Salt is a little OP at first
First time using the salt spearmint I found the salt a little much. Nonetheless, you get used to it. I try to shake the toothpaste before every use. I noticed this one started off very running, non issue, compared to the green tin. The jar might've been left open (oops!) And became more and more... Like puddy. Eventually acted like drying honey, sticking to everything and in larger portions than desired. Reading the ingredients, I decided to put the smallest amount of tap water (a drop or two) in and shook it up. Nothing. Left it over night, shook it in the morning, with no extra water added, and it was as good as new! I like the toothpaste, but will probably use a different flavor next time. So far green is our favourite.

Good sustainable product. Worth a try.
I feel the difference in tooth sensitivity, I feel improvement there. The teeth whitening...it won't have your teeth unnaturally white it's more of a pearl white. The taste takes a person like me, with a bit of a sweet tooth a moment to get used to. The taste is not bad because you dip the bristles so the paste lasts for a very long time. Overall I like this product and will keep using it, I think it will help the overall health of my teeth.
