Trying to get into throwers, and this one is superb, it looks and feels like a quality yoyo

This V12 Yoyo looks great with its metallic black/blue coating which seemed to withstand a couple of bangs against a wooden floor and even a fall on a stone-tiled kitchen floor without any noticeable damage. The body of the yoyo is made of aluminium so is strong but not too heavy and I found that this yoyo would spin easier and longer at the bottom of the string compared to some of the non-metallic yoyos available from MAGICYOYO. The wide design probably helps here compared to the more narrow models aimed at beginners. This is of course with the "responsive" flat bearing which is installed in the yoyo initially - this flat bearing is much easier to use than the "unresponsive" concave one which is also included, since the yoyo will actually return to your hand if you jerk it correctly. But you can still do some quite advanced tricks by letting the yoyo spin for half a minute or so before returning it. Because this yoyo is quite wide you'll need to be more careful to keep it balanced than with other models. (Also make sure you attach the string correctly, it is made of two strands which must be untwisted and fitted around the yoyo axle which you should be able to manage without unscrewing the two halves)For advanced yoyo users and "pros" it is quite easy to switch to the concave bearing with the supplied hex (Allen) key to remove the axle (be careful not to drop this it is tiny) and insert the other one with the new bearing. Now the yoyo will be "unresponsive" and will not return to your hand with any kind of jerk - this can be frustrating if it is the first time you have tried this type of yoyo. There is a special "binding" technique required to return the yoyo and although the instruction manual has a 7-step pictorial guide you will find it easier to search for an online video for how to return an unresponsive yoyo. It takes quite a bit of practice, but once you master it you can move on to all kinds of cool tricks that will entertain your friends and family.The yoyo comes in a decent zipped carry case and ten different coloured strings are included, although if you treat the yoyo carefully you should find each string lasts for a long time. The yoyo itself should last a lifetime (being made of aluminium it will never rust for example)

One of the kids really wanted a yoyo so this was great, it isn't what they were expecting as they have only had kids yoyo's in the past. He was bit expecting this and wasn't all impressed to begin with... as it requires a bit more work and practice... now he won't put the thing down.. he loves it.This is a really good yoyo

And I like it!Inside you get the yoyo, 12 assorted colour strings (which are great quality), the bearing switch kit (you can swap between unresponsive and responsive), and a QR code card to scan for more info.This kit, I would say, is not aimed at beginners. Even with the responsive bearing in, the yoyo is weighted well for hard spinning.The yoyo design is perfect in unresponsive mode for spin tricks. The bearings are really fluid, and allow tricks such as the DNA spin with ease.Overall, a great product! Much better than the high-street brands if you want to upgrade you or a child's skills from beginner to advanced.

Here we have a delightful Yoyo set, with a little case, a bunch of vibrantly coloured strings and a few spares.I was pretty wild about these things back in the day, and those were some crazy times, hanging around on park benches, pulling out my Duncan Special, and knocking out a Cat’s Cradle to impress all the tracksuit-clad Vicky Pollards..I just don’t know if Yoyos have got what it takes now to compete with all the Pokémons and the TikToks, but I am going to force this on some child regardless, I am going to make them play with it and I am going to regale them with stories of my childhood and how things were so much better before smartphones and social media, because kids love that. If my heartfelt gift is rejected, then I will take up the Yoyo mantle once more, and perhaps ascend to greatness.

Fantastic Yoyo for older kids, Teens and adults. Good quality yoyo, it seems ideal for anyone wanting to use a more advanced yoyo. There are instructions with the yoyo but more advanced information is available and you get this by scanning the QR code. It comes in a lovely storage box which is also good quality. In the set is additional bearings and an Allen key and 12 spare coloured strings. It has two options "Responsive" and "Unresponsive". which the QR code will explain. This Yo-yo is great for doing tricks, ideal for a yoyo enthusiast or some one that's willing to learn and is interested in this sort of enjoyment.
