Overall we have been pleased with their performance however, there is a limit to how many years they can be left out all winter without protection and still fire up in spring. I’ve been going through one that was seized up, and now have it turning over but it won’t stay running. This carburetor is a perfect fit for the predator 212CC engine. This kit comes with the carburetor, fuel line and fuel filter as well as the carb gaskets. I can still probably go through the old carburetor and clean it up but this kit is only $11.59 as I write this, and I can’t imagine a better price/value. This carb slips right on to the studs and fits perfectly. It was easy to connect the linkage and fuel line, although you have to pull the fuel tank to replace the line. The engine fired up on the second pull. Amazing really. If you own a predator 212CC engine, then buy this replacement carb kit and hang on to it until its needed, and you won’t be disappointed.

This is a replacement for the carburetor on a wood chipper. The old carburetor had gotten water in it and corroded. This is even better than the old one that the manufacturer used. It has a built in shutoff valve. The old one had an external valve that wasn't reliable. Also the small settling bowl will let, at least a little bit of water, to be eliminated before getting into the carburetor.
