Great replacement or second remote for your fan
I purchased this because we only had one remote control with our fan in our bedroom. Having a second remote allows both my wife and I to control the fan without having to climb across our California King bed. So glad I made this purchase because life is so much easier when you wake up and you want to turn the fan off instead of having to jump out in the cold air. The buttons are a little strange but are intuitive enough to get used to. The fan button itself will turn the fan off and the up arrow will put the fan on high with the down arrow putting it on low, no matter what the current speed is. Our fan allowed for multiple remote controls so this was the perfect addition!

Works, but fan doesn't turn on with remote.
I don't know why, but the light turns on and off but the fan itself wont turn on with the remote now.

It might work well for others, but it didn't work for my fan
I've purchased 2 Hunter ceiling fan remote control & sensor unit replacements; confirmed to be the correct part to fix our fans. I installed one unit in the 1st fan and it made a sparking, sputtering sound, and smells like fried electronics. It was wired according to the schedule, black with black, white with white, & etc. I didn't want to blow the 2nd unit so, I ll return it. Unfortunately, 2 new fans are my next new purchase. I can't say if these are a great product, or not. It didn't work for me.

Definitely worth the buy.
Such a lifesaver!! I lost the original one yesterday looked up an a replacement here on Amazon. The quality is great. I love that. I got to pick a different color from my original one, the speed functions. The brightness function overall quality was great. Everything functions great.It was very easy. Got here this morning. Took me about two minutes to get everything connected and working. Instructions are perfect literally step-by-step. If I lose this one, I'll be re-buying this again...😂

Great substitute
Easy to setup since my fan already had a receiver installed. After power-cycling the fan, it paired on the second try. It does take being a bit close and pointing directly to the fan to work, but the inputs otherwise work as needed. Quality feels good and fits well in the hand. Adjusting brightness and fan speed works as needed.

Should have gone for a pricier one. It stopped working 2 days after installation …
