I've had these knives for a week now and I'm really impressed with them. I thought my previous Japanese knife set was good but these are so much better. The handles are very comfortable and the blades are extremely sharp I've tried cutting numerous things and the knives have handled everything with ease. I would definitely recommend them in fact I've already recommended them to my brother.

I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but over the years I have bought several kitchen knives ranging from £20 to £200.I bought these recently as I'm moving house and wanted a new set and I'm very impressed. This isn't a long term review so I'll update once I've used them for a year but first impressions are:1. Factory sharpness - these are probably the sharpest out of the box knives I've owned. Even my Global knives I had to put on the whetstone. These cut through paper no issue straight out of the box2. Comfort and grip - as good as anything out there. Very comfortable to hold and to use.3. Value - this will make you question why you ever spent more on well known brands.

Need to be very careful when using this kitchen knife, extremely sharp!

This blade is very,very sharp, its a breeze cutting vegitables and fruit,no effort required and can slice really them thin(which was my main reason for buying ), only didnt give full 5 due to the cheddar cheese sticks to blade unlike the cheap blade that I was usung. Would I buy again ,deffinetly.

Mum wanted a new knife. Was very pleased with this feels great, light and is very sharp. Pretty great price aswell

Super sharp, be careful, it cuts anything, even fingers.
