Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro): Apple Intelligence, 8.3-inch Liquid Retina Display, 128GB, Wi-Fi 6E, 12MP Front/12MP Back Camera, Touch ID, All-Day Battery Life — Blue

I probably love this more than my iPhone. It is so light, it can be carried anywhere without weighing down my already too-heavy bag. The battery lasts so long, and I rarely end up stranded unable to charge it. I never feel like it slows down, no matter how many apps I have open, which is a nice change compared to my old Android tablets. The iPad OS interface feels clean, and it is nice not to get bombarded with ads, or a plethora of cheap games in the app store. The device itself is well-made and feels robust, and I'm now daring enough to use it without a case at home (the device is insured though, juuuuuuust in case, and I obviously use a case when going outside). Watching shows on the screen is a visual pleasure, and the speakers are great and offer good sound quality. Being able to use the iPad mini as second screen for my macbook and having a seamless connection feels magical. I could go on and on about all the options available but they are hundreds of videos on youtube. My only proper criticism is the front camera quality. It is shocking, but thankfully you can choose to use your iPhone as a webcam very easily while still taking your call on the iPad. But what I love most about this iPad is that it made me fall in love with drawing again. I've always wanted to practice, just for fun, but I didn't want the mess or the financial investment. But Procreate is the app that made me get an iPad (and the pencil pro), and I've never drawn/painted so much. The screen quality is great, and there is no latency when using the pencil. It's pure joy. I can sketch wherever I go. The only problem I have now is that the screen feels a bit small for artwork, and I might need to buy a larger iPad for artwork. But I still feel like the screen size for the mini is perfect for reading, and being on the go. My iPad has now become my library, my sketchbook, my recipe book, my second monitor when travelling, my notepad for study and work notes. 10/10

This is a great solution for travel, it's in-between a phone and a big Tablet/iPad/Laptop. So it's fits a great use case for us. If you are only using this at home as your main tablet I could see this as being too small, I think it really depends on what you need it for. This is a very specific point but it works great in the echelon Stride treadmill took, fits in the holder really well and let's us watch content whilst using the treadmill. It's lightweight too, so much lighter than the iPad pro. Buy it if you need a in the middle size screen for content, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I bought this iPad since it's more convenient and portable for me to use at university - I hadn't used my iPad Air (2022) in a long while because the 11" screen was far too bulky for me to carry around. The iPad was incredibly easy to set up, and I connected my Apple Pencil to it with ease as well. The pencil is also really nice to use with this iPad, and I think I'm going to enjoy annotating my lecture slides with this! I also bought a Bluetooth keyboard to use with it, which paired very smoothly and works really well too. The battery seems to hold up pretty well, which I'm very happy with, especially as someone who often forgets to charge things. I'm very used to iOS, and as always the interface is great and easy to use - it's barely ever changed and I don't see a need for it to since it works great! I'm also excited to use this to read books virtually on the train back home from university instead of just scrolling aimlessly through social media. Overall, it's definitely worth the money (unlike the iPad Air and iPad Pro, which I think are far too overpriced, but that's another story), and I'm sure it'll be a convenient asset to me for the rest of this degree and beyond!

“The Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro) is a brilliant little device. The 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display is sharp and vibrant, and the size makes it incredibly easy to carry around compared to a full-sized tablet. Performance is excellent thanks to the A17 Pro chip—everything feels fast and smooth, from browsing to apps and even more demanding tasks. Wi-Fi 6E is a nice bonus for faster, more stable connections. Battery life has been solid and it feels very well built, as you’d expect from Apple. Apple Intelligence features are also a useful addition and integrate nicely into everyday use. Overall, a perfect compact tablet if you want power in a small, portable form factor.”

This is a huge improvement for me on my mini iPad 4, with a tiny 16gb (hard to understand why Apple ever manufactured such a small storage product). Far more than sufficient for my needs, playing games, browsing, emails a plenty of room now to allow updates without off loading. Love its weight, the difference between the mini and the 10 inch is considerable, I find that one a bit heavy. Glad Apple have kept the mini light. The screen is a fantastic improvement on the mini 4, it is bigger as it doesn’t have that larger boarder top and bottom. The battery charges fast and lasts a really good time. I bought this as a used like new, great value price, the only difference was the box was a unsealed and little dinted, nothing significant, the cable was still in its wrapped condition, the protective plastic film cover was still on the screen. Very happy with bargain price. Definitely recommend this mini iPad for anyone looking to upgrade from their old model and new users alike.

iPad mini. Proof that less is sometimes more. Yes, it’s too much money for what it is, but if a reqular sized iPad doesn’t work for you for whatever reason, this one could scratch that itch. If it was 100 quid cheaper it would for sure be a 5 star product. I have to say that build quality is first rate. It looks like it would take a knock. Recommended.

Perfect. Had an old one so this is replacement - much faster and longer lasting battery Love it 🥰

wildly addictive. Best iPad format unless you need a larger size. I don't use smartphones so this is my equivalent for use at home.
