The skeleton model is a detailed cast of an adult human skeleton. The model shows all the important anatomical structures in detail. The size and shape correspond to a real human skeleton. The head is made of 3 pieces, consisting of cranium, base of the skull and lower jaw. The cranium is removable and allows views of the anatomical details in the interior of the skull. Magnetic connectors in the cranium provide a secure connection without metal fasteners. The lower jaw is attached to the base of the skull with springs and permits a chewing motion. The whole skull is removable. Arms and legs are movable and removable. The arms are mounted on the shoulder with elastic straps and are therefore fully positionable. The parts can be removed in seconds and without the aid of tools. All major joints are also moveable (elbows, knees, hand). The rib cartilage is made of transparent plastic. Muscle insertions and muscle origins are depicted in colour on the left half of the body. The skeleton is pre-assembled. The remaining assembly takes just a few minutes without tools.
