These are great. I make gingerbread cookies for friends and family each year, and some of my old cookie cutters were getting worn out, rusted, et cetera. Then along came this set of classic, well-made, Christmas cookie cutters! There is even a gingerbread man!These are nice, hefty cookie cutters that make a good-sized cookie of about four inches tall and three inches wide. In my experience, this is a good size for gingerbread cookies, because I make them thick, and a slightly bigger cookie brings out the delicious bready taste.There is a lovely, symmetrical tree, a nice candy cane, a snowflake, a snowman, and a Santa hat. All of them are clearly distinguishable except the Santa hat. It could be anything, but once you read the description that it is a Santa hat, you're good to go. It can easily be decorated in red frosting with a white pom-pom of frosting and look like what it is supposed to be.The side that you press down on is rounded on the edges, so it won't hurt your hands. The other side is more of a sharp cutter side to go through the dough.This is a great set. I'm very pleased with it. It exudes classic Christmas spirit. I have also used cookie cutters like these as patterns for felt ornaments. I'm glad I bought them for an old-fashioned Christmas.

I tried out the gingerbread man cookie cutter first and it works well making nice neat shapes. The size is about 4 inches tall.

Excellent sent of metal cookie cutters in Xmas shapes. These are sturdy and should last through lots of cookie seasons and washings. Large size makes them easy for little hands (and older ones) to hold on to, and I'm ready for cookie season to start now! great addition to any baker's pantry - and they come in a nice set that's easy to wrap for gifting.
