Love it, exactly as described. If you want a Maul saber for and affordable price this is the one.
If you want a the Darth Maul saber but don't want to pay $300 for it then this is the item for you. I got this on 3/2/2025 for $120 and I do not regret it at all. It is metal as described, has rechargeable batteries(with two included type C USB cables), with multiple light, motion, and sound options and MOST IMPORTANTLY a hilt couple with an adjustable ring so the sabers line up perfectly! It took me like 20 minutes to figure out and test out all the features with the single button controls but the instructions are pretty clear.I got the RGB one, not the neopixel so the light for the blade is as good as it could be without LED's being in the blade which I chose for the cheaper price. If you are big into dueling and having the lights on all the time then upgrade to the neo pixel version. If you are more casual and just want a display piece that normally doesn't have the blades in then this is pretty perfect.Features.There are several color options to swap between as described. The breathing feature of the blade is a bit lackluster as it is a base lite RGB version and not neo pixel. There is a background music (BGM in manual) that was cool. There are three looping songs you can swap through (good guy, bad guy, and more nuetral). They have sound fonts for all the main guys to adjust the sounds the saber makes.Volume adjustment from mute, low, and high (was default on high and it was loud).Adjustments do get saved so you dont have to reset it every time you power it back on.Single button press for blaster deflect sound and effect.Button hold to activate sound and effect for blade lock.NegativesOnly negatives I could find was that the hilt doesnt have the black color in the grooves to make it more screen accurate, the emitters have windows(not screen accurate but looks cool) and the power on and power off are two different button presses instead of one. This could have been fixed by having a second button for actions such as blade lock and blaster deflect.

Great buy
Wow these are loud. The proportions feel closer to the actual props instead of the much thicker Hasbro Sabers. But because of that the blades are also more narrow and definitely not standard size. That being said for a base lit saber, I'm very happy with its luminosity in daylight and darkness. I could definitely assume it's not good to duel with these blades but for the price I'm beyond overjoyed with my purchase. They also shipped super fast too!!

Good for the price
It’s solid. There are a few slightly loose pieces I had to tighten, but I have many sabers and for the price, this is great. Fun motion controls, solid sound. For the price, it’s likely the best saber possible out there. 7.8/10

Better than Disney Sabers
Great cost, I purchased it on Black Friday sale. This is an RGB saber so it’s not as intense and bright as a pixel saber and it doesn’t have a SIM card to add more Star Wars sounds which makes it more affordable but it is still fun.It doesn’t have a lot of different character lightsaber sounds but enough to have fun.It also has a middle metal piece to adjust and line up the fake red buttons which is a great idea.I think it’s made of aluminum, I’m not sure how safe that is for skin contact for long periods of time.In the book the first directions that say RGB Are the directions for this saber but it takes you about a half hour to get used to the settings to control the saber. Frustrating at first but you will get used to it.It turns on slow, you have to hold down the button so you have to already know when to start it up before you can pretend to be a Jedi. It doesn’t just turn on from on push on the button because of the different settings the button is capable of doing. That put me off a bit at first but you get used to it.First pair I got didn’t connect well to charge and the speaker was low in one saber but Amazon replaced it fast with a new set. This is my first after market saber and I give it a 4 out of 5. This is how Disney should make the first sabers they released back in the year 2000. This is a very cool toy for adults and cosplayers and I recommend it to fans, have fun.

Its not really a starwars lightsabor🤨
Dispite all the hype, i was ultimately disappointed w/ the darth maul lightsabor. Call me picky, but the thing that steared me to dismay was how the lightsabor would turn on and off. Actually that IS exactly how it engaged, it lit up all at once, as did its powerdown. Not civil like the jedi sabot. But as far as price, color changing styles, and the multible sound fx, + the metal hilt…..it is still a good buy. Good luck ……….SDloco75

Awsome
These are so cool. I gave half of this as a gift thinking wow there are two. But I have regrets instantly because I want the entire thing. Very sturdy, light fighting definitely not a problem. Light are cool sounds are great. Takes a little to master the control but I love it and plan on buying another. FYI be careful practicing inside I took out antique kitchen globe.... just waiting for someone else to notice it so I can deny.

Money can’t buy happiness but this is close enough!
The media could not be loaded. Bought these for my son who’s a Star Wars geek at heart! These are quite amazing, the colors are awesome, once you get the hang of the button functions it’s easy! They are heavy and extremely well made. Sound effects are LEGIT. I’m very impressed for the money, made his entire LIFE!

Great starter baselit lightsaber
I was hesitant to buy a lightsaber off Amazon but this particular maul saber so far has been a joy. The sounds are clear and pretty good for a baselit saber for a fraction of the cost and cheaper and better than a Disney saber (I have over 10 from Disney). I think next one I’ll make the jump for a neopixel. It can change blade colors, has multiple SW sound fonts and saber sounds for different characters, and 3 theme songs.I bought a anakin one off amazon from a different brand and the build quality was not good compared to the electronics on this one. The sound and fonts were bad. This one is crisp and sounds great. The only thing I wish this one could do is line up when both hilts are connected to make a staff. Disneys connector has a bolt so you can adjust so they line up. Not a big deal but something to note for buyers.
