I picked this up to store a spare house key somewhere safe outside of the house and hidden away in case of emergencies.It looks and feels well make and quite robust and come with mounting accessories. The outer shell is made of plastic and the inner is metal. There’s a front cover you lift to gain access to the number pad and subsequent entry to the safe part.Setting the combination is very easy, but you will need a screwdriver. It only takes a few minutes to complete it. The passcode can be between 4-8 digits. You can only use a number once and there is no sequence when opening the safe. So, if you set it up as 1,2,3,4, you can enter 2,4,1,3 and it will unlock. The fact that the combination doesn’t need to be entered in the correct sequence does significantly increase the chance of the combination being cracked.Obviously, I’m not going to try and break into it in order to see how secure it is, but it feels sturdy enough to a point. Since this does look a little bit like one of those external electrical sockets, I may attach a bit of cable to it just to help disguise it as one.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Well made very substantial, easy to set up

This one is much easier to use, especially in the dark, than the ones you get the the rolling numbers that you need to line up the code. In the dark they are impossible! With this one, you can just feel the buttons and press the correct numbers 👍

Bought this as key safe for elderly relative. Thought more secure as 12 different digits. However these can be entered in any order therefore far fewer combinations than expected. Decided not to use and purchased a different type where number is entered in order.

Easy to use and well made. I like the fact that you don’t have put the code in in any order i.e 1234 oe 2431 or 4321 all well work. Easy

CDC DIGI Key Safe Wall Mounted,12-Digit Combination Security Key Lock Box arrived boxed with fixing kit and user guide.It is of a compact size, but would fit a few keys, the measurements are exactly as per listing description.It seems to well made, strong, sturdy and durable.I like its simple and practical design.I had similar one, but this one seems of a much better quality.It is easy and fast to mount and set up.Sadly password doesn't have to be put in a correct sequence to unlock the safe. It could have up to 12 digits, but digits cannot repeat, so 12 digit password wouldn't be safe at all. It should be safe anyway with the shorter code.Just what I needed, keeps my spare keys to the garage safe.Versatile, well protected from the weather conditions, decent quality, fast to mount, easy to use, but code should be improved as not the safest at the moment.
