I went almost 3 years in my current home without NEEDING an alarm, and finally had an unfortunate break-in one weekend we were out of town. So I had to have an alarm, and wanted to self-monitor. I already had plenty of Ring Cameras (which also allowed us to catch one of them that returned the next day and have them arrested) so we decided to go with Ring Alarm and go all the way. Extremely easy to setup even with my Eero Mesh network setup. Great value for the money! Highly recommend!

Have found Ring devices to be excellent quality. Easy to pair, easy to install. Alexa compatible. Reasonable monitoring prices too.

I have been using Ring service since its start (it was Doorbot back then). I found my service was double-charged last month. Assuming this was an error, I contacted Ring about it. I was informed that their services had changed, and my service fee has doubled! No notification, no explanation, just doubled. 100% increase for the identical service. The discussion with a supervisor in the business office was condescending and insulting. I recommend researching more honest services and different companies before investing in Ring.

Believe it or not, on the iOS app you cannot set a customized sound for alarms.I am currently traveling and the alarm triggered in the middle of the night. Obviously nobody heard the default notification (which lasts for less than 1 second) so we completely missed it and did nothing.This missing feature is critical for a security app and the problem is well known by Ring. For at least 3-4 years users have been asking for it in various forums but nothing has been done.I suggest not to invest any money into the Ring system and look elsewhere. If I could, I would never buy it again.

I loved Ring, but now they're taking a 100% price increase. Yes, you read that right. They are raising their yearly price from $100 to $200. I feel duped. I have spent so much money on four cameras, two doorbells, an outdoor camera and light, sensors on all of my doors, two motion detectors, flood sensors, and fire alarms. Am I really going to throw all of that away because Ring got greedy? I also pulled out and plastered over all of my ADT holes for their system because I thought Ring was going to be the long term affordable alternative. I would stay away.

I am still trying to figure out why people continue to buy this Carp WTF is wrong with these people they want you to do a membership and then provide substandard support you get poor quality replacement equipment I received a warranty replacement brand new out of the box that is just giving me a different set of problems than the previous returned item that was covered under warranty. It’s unfortunate that I have so much finance invested in this poor quality. That I can’t afford to just throw it away and I would not give it to somebody else and subject him even at free to this kind of poor quality of service and equipment. Anybody is thinking about buying Ring products should think very seriously there is better equipment out there that is self-contained with a mini memory card wireless they provide better service and there’s no membership fee you can still. The best part is you still receive alerts on your cell device and on your desktop or laptop computer where Ring has not figured out how to do desktop application, especially with windows I would say this rate of minus four-star it is piss, poor equipment. Hope this helps in your future purchase, or consideration of buying some sort of security.
