Very happy with the purchase. Well made, works great. Almost works too well in direct sunlight, water sprays about 24" into the air and empties the bird bath in an hour. Will spray a small amount every 3 seconds or so in indirect sunlight.

if I put one of the actual spray caps on the pump it sprays water much to high and the water is ejected out of the bird bathif I leave the spray cap off the water recirculates much better but there is no entertaining spray pattern .

For the price and free shipping offer this product was definitely a win. However, the adapters did not stay in so used plumbers tape to adjust this problem. Also, the pump is too good (when in full sun and even light clouds) the water shoots three or four feet into the air but when any leaves from trees or fence lines cause shade it stops cold. Over all though I would purchase this again.

I was looking for a simple fountain to create sound to attract birds to my backyard and to disturb the water in the bird bath to prevent mosquitoes from hatching. This item arrived well packed and came with several fountain heads with varying hole designs that acted as flow restrictors which created different patterns of water dispersal. Overall, the construction was quite good.As others had reported, the flow rate varied widely with the intensity of sunlight and I ended up using a large stainless platter from a dollar store to ensure the water didn't simply get pumped out of the bird bath with the wind.It worked out pretty much as advertised but I'd like to see a design improvement that would incorporate a regulator of some sort between the photocells and the pump motor to smooth out the water flow with differing light levels.I would still recommend this item to people willing to improvise the installation a bit.

Arrived on time, intact. Removed it from the package, removed the protective film, dropped it in the bird bath and BOOM! Worked perfectly. If you leave all of the filters off, it will just bubble slowly - hoping the hummingbirds will like that. Also saves water that way. And yes, as advertised, it will stop immediately without direct sunlight.

Good addition to the bird bath.If not for the birds themselves then for me for sure.All the complaints about this unit working in the full sun only are true. The slightest shade - it shuts down.Other than that - no issues.j

it works great! maybe too well? Since we can't adjust the pressure manually; I give it 4 stars.I just wish we could fine tune the stream a little! comes with many jets accessories to vary the shape of fan out you desire. we will experiment and see what suits us best! The pump starts as soon as the sunlight hits it and stops when the light isn't strong enough which is fine. in the size birdbath, we currently have; It tends to empty the Birdbath if the wind picks up the water stream. not a fault of the pump but the jets are pretty strong which reach about 4 to 6 inches in height during strong sunshine. We can't wait to see the birds make the best of it... I would recommend this product as it seems well made. money well spent so far!

Have it on a stand about 18 inches from the ground and the birds shower in the overflow.

I ordered based on the picture in the description, and while the model appears to match the electrical specifications, the shape was different. I ordered a polygonal/sunflower design and received a round version. Not worth a RMA, as the product functions as described after a weeks use so far. It's the correct size of 6".If it lasts longer than the $10 cheaper alternatives, I will be satisfied and recommend it to others.

A simple bird bath that requires no wirings and no water connections. The only down side is the power will gets very low even the shower tip itself causes a shadow to the solar panel or completely shut off when cloudy.

This fountain makes our garden looks alive. We always want some sort of water element in our garden until I found this one. The solar panel works under direct sunlight. The pump is quite powerful. I will need to place it in a large plate so that the water doesn’t get pumped out. However, it is very lively and definitely makes your garden special.
