This is the best travel mug ever. I received one as a gift in 2013 and use it every day. It is truly spill proof when lid is tightened and keeps my morning coffee HOT for several hours. I purchased 2, one as a gift and one for myself as an extra. Only complaint is it is smaller than my old one. Holds only 12 ounces and my old one holds 16 ounces. I couldn't find the bigger one anywhere.

Love the screw top feature, easy to operate, keeps coffee hot for hours if closed.

It’s leak-proof and easy to clean, sure, but these people saying it keeps their coffee “hot all day” are living on the planet of lying liars. This cup keeps coffee *hot* for about 15 minutes. Within an hour it’s lukewarm. I use it as a regular coffee cup if I carry it upstairs to drink while I’m getting dressed and don’t want it to spill on the way. Then I drink *fast*. If I want to drink HOT coffee at lunch, I’ll pack a Thermos™ brand thermos.

Like my other Bodum travel mug, nice and solid but with the added benefit of being able to drink from anywhere around the lid. I wish I could buy the lid separately to upgrade my other one (they're the same thread).These are travel mugs which need to be kept upright, rather than a flask.Compared to various other brands I've had, these are great because I've never had one leak from around the lid, and with the lid closed there doesn't seem to be any liquid escaping when I tilt it (in fact, I have tried briefly turning it upside down and none escaped but it's not designed to ensure this hence needs to be carried upright). The insulated body does its job well so is compfortable to hold, and the silicone grip is 'grippy' enough,It keeps the contents nice and warm. This style of twist-open lid closure posisbly lends itself to allowing drinks to cool faster when 'open' as there's a larger area for heat to escape so that might be handy in the warmer months.

Purchased 2 cups on recommendation. The cup has a nice feel, comfortable to hold. Their stops my complements. It is broader than a can so doesn't fit in the cup holder in the van. The twisty turny lock isn't a 1 handed operation. It dribbles.My biggest complaint is that even with pre heating with boiling water neither cup holds it heat - 2 hours cold. This is not as per the person who recommended it.Bodum do different styles of cup, I would try them over this model.

I use this for two things:1) when my kids football is on (not in lockdown) - to take coffee to the sidelines, it works very well2) since we moved house, the home office is on the top floor of a 3 storey town house and i am paranoid about spilling anything so it is great for taking up there and staying hotVery pleased with this, so much so I may get another one for my wife.

Absolutely what I was hoping for. Keeps tea hot for ages. Very easy to clean. Spill-proof as long as you don’t overfill. Only difficulty was taking apart before first use, but once loosened it’s now straightforward. I haven’t put in the dishwasher, tbh I don’t think it’s necessary, it’s so easy to clean. Am very pleased.

I love these mugs - especially for long driving journeys as you can drink from any side of the mug and liquid stays hot (or cold) for hours if sealed properly. Only downside is that I lost the inner rubber ring and Bodum won't or can't replace it which has rendered it pretty useless - can't retain heat for very long and leaks badly. Would still buy again (despite the price!!!) as they work so well.
