Unlike many ice makers, this one keeps the ice very cold, fully frozen and not melting into a blob. It makes ice quickly, not too noisy. I replaced one of those clear ice machines since they melt down continually and run continually. This one is easy on the water bill and easy on the electric bill. It was packaged REALLY well for shipping and arrived quickly without damage. It's supported by a US office which is great. Controls consist of an on-off switch, and a lever to stop production but remain cold.

Waited a few months prior to a thorough reviewThe good is the ice itself is solid and large. Stays frozen in my Yeti for a long period of time. Also appreciate there's no need for a drain for where I placed the freezer. But maybe that causes the ice being stuck together?The bad- has more bad than good or at least In my opinion. I've never owned a machine such as this so maybe this is normal. There is always a build up of ice. I either have to frequently defrost the whole machine or let the ice build. When the ice is full, I feel like water just drains to the bottom of the bucket which freezes the whole bucket itself. It becomes harder to dish out a few cubes because it is stuck together. I think I saw another reviewer say the same. If you use the ice before the bucket is full, it's great. But if you let it sit for long periods of time (more than 3 days), the whole bucket is clumped together.The machine is also very loud when making ice. You'll hear the water go to the machine and you'll hear the ice crack or drop down into the bucket.UPDATEMachine doesn’t produce ice anymore. I noticed the water just filled the bucket without stopping. Quite annoyed it stopped working.

We bought this ice make that adds style and a great feature to our newly remodeled kitchen. It is such a fast ice maker and I love the simple stainless look and ease of install and use. We had a small issue with the unit so we contacted customer support and BOY are they quick to respond and amazing to deal with. You can tell the customer is their number 1 priority and they do not waste your time. Within 24 hours, instead of trying to troubleshoot too much they had a new one delivered in less than 3 days. And they said keep or donate the old one no reason to return it. This was amazing. I am 100% confident this issue was a fluke so I am not concerned with the new one at all. They reached out on their own several times to make sure we received it and it was installed and working. They clearly wanted us happy so I decided to write a review when I normally don't. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from this company.

I bought this ice maker four months ago and it stopped working. It made ice for 3 months and then it drained water to form a block of ice. It is impossible to get with customer service to get refunded or to x change it.

If you are looking for phenomenal customer service buy this product. Our first ice maker did not work properly and my husband and I were so disappointed. I reached out to the seller and Jet was absolutely exceptional. First he tried to help us troubleshoot the problem with clear videos and guides and when that didn’t work he promptly shipped us a new model which works perfectly. I am confident if we were to have issues with the new model Jet would be there to help us again and again. The ice maker is pricey but with customer service that is second to none, I am confident in this purchase. The unit itself is sleek, looks gorgeous and makes great ice. Don’t hesitate to order from this seller. You won’t be disappointed.

I bought this item in November 2023. It worked very well for four months, and now it does not make ice anymore. I contacted the seller, but I haven't received a response. I don't recommend this item; it will drain your money in repairs.

Cotlin representative Sisi provided exceptional customer service when my ice maker developed a problem. She expedited troubleshooting guidance, with written instructions and video. When the first did not work she followed up promptly with additional guidance. Her customer service was great!. When all efforts to rectify the situation failed, Sisi obtained authority to replace my unit and swiftly notified me of it's shipment. What more could I ask for? I was especially impressed with the style, stainless steel and the fact that I did not have to have drainage. Simply hook up the water line, plug it in and wait. Shortly you have more ice than you can use. Love having the ice when I need it, especially during holidays.

Bought last August, it does make ice, at least until the water inlet valve fails. Not sure if it is not sealed well or if the thermostat does not regulate temp well. It does wind up with a frozen chunk of ice in the bin if it's not cleaned out regularly. Replacement inlet valve is around $20.00 and it's easy to change..
