CAMEL CROWN Men's Lightweight Rain Jacket Waterproof Raincoat Windbreaker Hooded Active Outdoor Shell Jacket for Hiking Work

This is a lighter weight version of the softshell jacket buy the same maker. I have both jackets and both are well made, the stowaway hood was the deciding factor on both purchases. Unlike the the softshell version which has cavernous sleeves and no elastic in the wrist (I sewed in an extra piece of velcro to get a tighter fit) this jacket has pretty normal sleeves with elastic in the wrist. Both have shed the rain quite well, although I have not given them an extended test. Get them on sale and you can't go wrong.

Jacket was better than expected. Got a size bigger because it was meant to go over a hoodie and fleece jacket combined. No issues with wind as it withstood strong gusts near the ocean without diminishing my interior warmth. Also has done very well in wet and snowy conditions. Kept me completely dry and oversized hood with visor and bungee cords to tighten are worth praising too. Might have to buy another soon since sometimes during inclement weather my son will grab it to use if I don’t get out of the house with it first.

A ways back, I purchased a Lands End "rain" coat which turned out to be useless. Any downpour over a light mist would render me wet inside. I couldn't wait to replace it. I finally got to test this coat out yesterday in a moderate rainstorm and it passed with flying colors. I stayed dry. It fits okay. Even though I measured my chest and arms twice before ordering it, the large size was too tight so I had to replace it with the XL which is a bit loose in the torso but I see that as a plus as I can wear a fleece or sweatshirt underneath in colder temperatures. Definitely a good value for the money.

Well made rain jacket with good attention to detail. Runs true to size and protects against rain. Would have given it 5 stars but for the noise it makes as i move around! If the swishing noise doesn’t bother you, buy the jacket because it looks great.

I needed to replace my rain jacket and this was on sale for 19.99 when I bought it. I got the green color. Looked great out of the package, and a uper lightweight when wearing it.Kept me totally dry in the rain yesterday and loved that in 70 degree weather I didn’t feel hot in it. Today I got to test it in the cold. At 42 degrees I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t need a layer below to keep me warm despite the jacket being so light!My only issue was I usually wear a medium size jacket and the medium was pretty big so you may want to purchase a size smaller than usual. However the bigger fit will be good for layering if needed for cooler weather.Excellent jacket for $20.

My Husband is 5’10” and weighs 175 lbs, I bought him the XL. He likes his jackets a little big so he can layer underneath.He said this jacket was perfect. He wore it over a coat to protect him from the rain and wind. It worked great. He liked the pockets and zipper. No problems with the jacket, would recommend..

Pros: Good and acceptable design as advertised on Amazon, Perfect size as expected, great sealed package when received it.Cons: Nothing weird.

Came damaged lol. I was confident when it started raining, went for a delivery and it turned out to be disaster. Had to stop and pick up a raincoat from a local store. Hahaa
