Bought this for my partner to be a Christmas Tree train and she is thrilled.Quality of the train is lovely.Carriages look so beautiful lit up.Easy to charge. Charge lasts a long time.Easy to fill with water (just use a little bit).With the remote you can make the train go forward, backward, speed up and slow down, whistle, and produce steam.Steam is cool and not dangerous.Sounds can be muted.Tracks are great, point switches work well and are great fun.Wouldn’t change anything about it, it’s great. Good value for a really nice item.

Lots of fun with your child
The media could not be loaded. Great quality of construction. It works perfectly as long as the assembly is done correctly, placing all the wheels inside the rail is also important for the proper functioning of the train.Perfect under the Christmas tree

Battery box missing - train is now useless
Ordered it for my son’s 3rd birthday which is today(15th Feb). He was excited to see it work. However when we tried assembling we realised No battery box in the battery compartment. The train is now useless and it won’t work without it. Please either send a replacement asap or refund my money and I will send this package back. This was suppose to be my son’s birthday present and now he has nothing

Brilliant
Brilliant train set. Well worth the money . Love it so much brought a second set to join together. Grandchildren love it .

Good but...
The train and track are a good size but if we use the cross sections of the track, it always seem to de-rail the train. So unfortunately we can only use this as a loop. The steam function and light up carriages is good extra

Amazing quality train set at bargain price.
Amazing quality train set, at an absolute steal price (£55.99). It says full price is £89.99, but even that would be reasonable. The train steams, the carriages light, it makes sounds and runs in either direction with the remote control. Something like this 10/20 years ago would have cost 5 times the price. You need x6 aa batteries, 2 for the remote controller and 2 for each carriage for the carriage lights. I would recommend getting rechargeable batteries at least for the remote. That way the trains operation is completely rechargeable. The train itself contains a battery in the coal box which you charge up with USB cable provided. Then connect the coal box plug to the train engine. And you use the pippette provided to out water in the second chimney for steam.

Great fun.
Just what we wanted to add to our Christmas tree layout. Total fun, very good quality, easy to use and set up. The recharge function is perfect. High quality and detail. A great purchase. Will adorn our Christmas and other events for years.
