This game came nicely packaged and was so easy to set up and understand the rules. Played with a 7 and 10 year old who managed to easily follow the instructions, and was playing the game in full within 3/4 minutes of opening the box.The game itself took about 15/20 mins to complete. Was fun and was quick to play in terms of keeping the children’s interest and concentration. The twists and turns of scoring goals, penalties and all the other action cards was entertaining and kept us on our toes as to who would win.Could be more VAR on the board. Team talk at half time was a great added extra with some humour with eating oranges.All in all we would highly recommend this game for anyone aged 6+ and is a great family game to have around the home.

Bought the game to play with my two sons - aged 7 and 11 - who both love board games and football. It was an instant hit with both (as well as with dad). The Game of Two Halves manages to be both inventive and simple to play. With many board games, you need a PhD is advanced astrophysics to be able to decipher the rules, buy that's not the case here. We were up and running very quickly, and any uncertainty while playing was very easily resolved.I would highly recommend this game. Its price bracket makes it a good option for birthday or Christmas gifts. There aren't many football-themed board games that really hit the mark, but The Game of Two Halves manages to do just that. It's great to find a game that gets kids willingly off screens/YouTube too.

I bought this game to play with my grandkids (11 year old grandson and 9 year old grand daughter), they loved it. Really fun, easy to play, with all the highs and lows of a real game of football! Would recommend. 👍

It’s always tough finding new games to keep the kids occupied, but I was really glad to stumble across the game of two halves!Easy to learn and fun to play, the kids have had a blast and I’ve even managed a sneaky game or 2 with them myself.Definitely would recommend and it keeps them off the screens, which is another plus.

Took me back to the golden days of football board games like “Wembley”! Played with an 8 year old, two young teens and a 17 year old, they all loved the cup competition and the variety. Highly recommended. Great stocking filler or game to play on Christmas Day!!

Bought this while looking on Amazon vfor a new board game. Being footy mad family, thought might give this game a go. We like tactile stuff instead of kids on phone or computer all of timeThis is really brilliant. Great idea. We have not stopped playing this as two or three and 4 players. I like all the parts that make up this game and would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves board games and also football. So pleased with my purchase and think it's great value.
