Good for the money. High quality, low price.
New box came, I weighed it, 19 lbs. The printer, once unboxed weighed 12 lbs.Instead of reading the destructions, I used some unboxing and set-up videos I found on YouTube. One thing that surprised me is that you have to install the 2 print heads. They just slide right in like it was an old style ink cartridge. One is labeled B (Black only) and the other C (color). Takes 10 seconds but remember to remove the tape on the print heads. This next thing I absolutely love. The ink bottles are keyed. You cannot put them in wrong. The ink bottles drain in the printer for less than 60 seconds. No mess whatsoever As someone who once put the wrong color ink cartridge in an Epson printer, I learned my lesson. That was, of course, a disaster.I had the most difficult time finding the USB port. Its a couple of inches above the power plug port but it's really hidden. But, there is one real down side to this printer. It's the incredibly tiny (1 x 1 inch) display that is very difficult to read and must be used when setting up the printer. It's awful. The contrast is terrible and I have yet to find a way to control it.Once you do get it setup you probably won't have to ever use it again because the App allows you to everything you need from your computer.I have not tried to wirelessly print yet. I’m Old School (emphasis on Old) and I prefer not sending my documents through the air.Print quality is very good as is the scanning. It's all brand new so of course everything works. I would rate the quality overall as a SOHO or just an occasional printer use. This is not for a graphics professional, but college student, definitely.Printing speed is a little slow. You can duplex print but only manually. You have to flip the paper. Some pretty cool options in the software. A deep cleaning mode, an actual page count and a graphical representation of ink levels. But still, for the money and usability, it's amazing. I'm pretty happy.

Great Little Printer - fantastic printing, clear and sharp.
Pros: Easy setup, 1, 2, 3, follow the instruction, No problem. WiFi with the tiny screen took a second to connect. This is a great little printer. Good quality prints, sharp and clear, good color, Ink lasts a long time.Cons: The printer feels cheap, the quality of the plastic all around feels thin and fragile. I have a Canon Pixma 7120 that feels like a tank, glossy plastic cover, felt strong, still going after 8 years or more of good printing. The little tiny LCD screen, really Canon, its hardly visible. What happened to the giant (in comparison) LCD screen like the one on the P7120???Only reason I'm replacing it is Windows 11 - printer is not 100% compatible. It will print but I can't scan and I need that feature.Back to the G3270 - Love this little printer, I'm careful opening and working around the covers so nothing will break. Double sided printing is possible but you have to reload the sheets into the try and print the second side. It does not print double sided sheets automatically like the P7120, bummer. Takes up more space, although a smaller footprint because of the rear paper tray. The paper stands tall so you need room above the printer to load the paper. I raised the shelf to 14" above the printer to accomodate the paper tray. It's easiler to load the paper but it takes up space. Beautiful pages of black and white text, color printing is wonderful, really improved over the P7120. Mega Tanks are awesome, easy fill and they remain full after literally 100's of pages of printing. I've been through three reams of paper and still going strong. I'm talking about double sided pages of full text, powerpoint presentations with notes and various signs in color. GREAT. I looked a the big brother the G3290 (with the larger screen) couldn't find one online or at a local store?? Yeah, they are available now after I bought the G3270 WHAT?

So far so good, but minor setup frustration
I just finished setting up my new Canon Pixma G3270, and it only took a couple of hours. Despite what I read in some reviews, connecting to my Mac via WI-FI was a cinch using the online site recommended in large, bold letters on the enclosed "instruction" page. (The only helpful instruction was the url for that page). The hiccup came when that app never said how to add print heads and fill the ink tanks.Fortunately, I quickly found a very helpful YouTube video that walked me through the very simple process. (The search also returned a non-helpful Canon page; be thankful for helpful folks willing to produce the how-to information manufacturers are unwilling to create!)Internal setup took just 8 minutes and the printer was ready to go. I've only printed a few plain paper test pages and those look good. Be prepared to look beyond Canon's instructions and you'll likely have no problemI will update this review should I be impressed, positively or negatively, as my experience with it increases. Otherwise, silence means it works without offering glee or wrath in me.

Instant Connectivity on iPhone and MacBook Air
All reviews point to this or the comparable Epson, and I was turned off by the recent Epson review by a Mac user who spent an hour with customer service and multiple driver downloads to achieve a wireless connection. I had recently bought a Canon flatbed scanner which was up and running within minutes of taking it out of the box. This was the same experience. It takes about 5 minutes for the setup software to sync and a few more moments to empty the 4 ink cartridges into their wells. Another moment to search and lock on your wifi network and you're in business. My phone and MacBook automatically recognized the printer and that was it. Ready to do business. Graduating to a wireless printer is life-changing! Very happy I chose this product and thankful for helpful reviews pointing me to it.
