All-Weather Gun Case

I recently purchased the Plano All-Weather Gun Case, and I must say it is the best case available in my opinion. Super high quality and durable case. Love the fact that you can shape the foam to your liking so that your piece can sit perfectly in the case and is protected. It has a great carry handle and travels well. It’s a great item for the money, it is a low cost high quality case that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great case.

Great case, very sturdy and good quality for this price. I tried a few layouts, I can fit one whole AR 15 with a 16'' barrel plus mags and a second upper or optic... or one AR 10, disassembled, with a 18'' barrel and mags and still have room for an optic, second upper, tripod, etc.For reference, this slides neatly under the back seat of my 2024 F-250, basically out of sight to all but the most determned gwakers.Only downside is this largely indestructible case comes in TWO cardboard boxes. That's considerably mode cardboard than it needed.

This Plano case is a fantastic multi-purpose all around case, offering great sturdiness and support. Its four latches hold everything down securely, and even with only two locked, the case remains difficult to flex open. The pluck foam is a nifty feature, allowing you to trace and cut an almost exact custom fit for whatever you store inside, and tear-away foam sections extend close to the edges, providing ample room for versatility. The case itself is well-manufactured, feeling like a quality piece that can handle drops and bumps with ease. The egg crate-style top foam keeps everything in place when the lid is closed, and there's an additional underlayer to protect your equipment. All in all, this is an awesome case, and would definitely recommend!

Nice case. Customization options are endless. Seems solid...for the most part. I got a good deal on a "like new" from Amazon Resale however I'm deducting one star because the case arrived with two broken latch tabs: one from a keyed latch and one from a non-keyed latch. Either Amazon Resale did not realize the tabs were broken or they broke during transit. Spare parts are available only through the manufacturer but I'm going to wait and see how this fares on the airplane. I think the other tabs may also just break. Fortunately, the latches work fine even with the broken tabs so I may just use it as is.I am using this case for my son's baseball bats for when we need to travel by plane for tournaments. This case is perfect for his 32-inch bats. There's room for a third, if necessary. There's probably enough room to get bats up to 34-inches in length.

I have never checked firearms on an airplane, but I needed to move some firearms to a new location and none of the cases I already had really fit that need. This case is sturdy, has two locking latches, plus holes for four external locks. It fit the bill perfectly.The wheels made it easy to get through the airport, albeit the clanking sound of the wheels going every tile crack led me to carrying it for a while, they were perfect on smooth floors. The case comes with easy pluck foam, but I chose not to use it so I could use the case for all of my long guns and not just a specific one.Just two quick hints, not about the case, but about my experience traveling with firearms. First you do not need to buy locks that can be opened by TSA. I would suggest buying a padlock that is not accessible by a TSA key. Those keys have been stolen in the past and anybody who handles your luggage may have one. Secondly I threw an Apple tag in the case so I could keep my eye on the case the entire time. This put my mind at ease. Well at least until I arrived at baggage claim and saw my case was just on the other side of the wall from me for about 30 minutes before they actually brought it out for me to collect.
