Zouk Masala Chai Spice Blend | Premium Indian Blend | Create Authentic Masala Chai From Home (60g)

I ordered this chai spice mix as I had tried and very much enjoyed a chai tea at a friend's house.The 60g pack is thankfully clearly printed with clear instructions how to make the tea, including how much of the powder is recommended, in my case I innitially used a level teaspoon in a pan of milk that could fill two large cups, and I enjoyed it, but I do think i should have added slightly more.The overriding taste in my opinion is ginger, I do like ginger, and I liked this version of chai, but it didn't taste like the chai I had previously tasted, so perhaps it's like different brands of teabags taste different.You will need either a tea diffuser, or a fine mesh sieve, and a pan to heat it in, but apart from that the drink is simple to make, it's warming, I enjoyed the taste, so I will be happy to recommend it.

This masala chai spice blend is fantastic and makes it very easy to make an authentic tasting masala chai quickly and easily at home. Would definitely recommend this to any chai lovers!

This is effectively a taster pouch of masala chai. The blend comes in a small 60g resealable pouch and consists of a combination of White pepper, Green Cardamom, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cloves. Please note that there are no tea leaves included within the blend. You need to brew the blend with loose leaf tea. Once brewed, it gives that warming, aromatic and fragrant masala chai taste epitomising the taste of Indian tea. The image on the front is quite quirky and eye-catching and the blend is of very good quality.

Adds good flavour to your drink and it's easy to make chai with, makes a big difference when not using it and can be added to other things too, it's a shame the packet isn't large enough.

This is quite a strong spice blend for making chai. It suggests half a teaspoon, or a full one if you want more flavour. If you are quite new to chai like I am, half a teaspoon is definitely enough! I added about 1 & 1/2 teaspoon of sugar to sweeten. It makes a nice warm, spiced drink although I wish the ginger was toned down just a little. For those who are fans of authentic chai I think this would be good.

The blend is rich and aromatic, with a perfect balance of spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves that create an authentic masala chai flavour.Just a small amount mixed with black tea and milk gives me that warm, comforting cup that reminds me of traditional Indian chai.The 60g jar lasts a while since you only need a little bit per cup, and the quality of the spices is noticeable from the first sip.

Just a note, this is purely the spice blend for tea not the tea itself so you need to add teabags separately.For the price it is pretty expensive but it is a lovely mix, I'm super fussy with my chai and this is a good blend.
