What a fantastic grim reaper costume set! The scythe is really eye-catching, with intricate details and weathering on the gold blade and three skulls - it genuinely enhances the whole costume. However, I did notice that some parts of the blade were a touch sharper than I would like; a quick sand down sorted this out for me.The skull and skeleton masks are impressive for creating that authentic graveyard vibe, but I feel like there's a missed opportunity here for glow-in-the-dark elements to ramp up the fear factor!Now, the glowing eyes are simply amazing, fading in and out in a deep blood red that gives you the chills! And the best part? They don't obstruct your vision at all (they're roughly in line with your cheeks), making them perfect for trick or treating. Just a little note: the glowing effect is powered by a battery pack with a 1 m cable, and make sure you have two AA batteries handy as they're not included.The cloak is nice; it has a smooth velvet feel that makes it feel more luxurious than the average cloak. Just tie the ribbon that's around the neck, and you're good to go!The highlight of my day was seeing how thrilled my son was with this set. He loves Halloween parties - he's got two coming up - and he will certainly stand out as the grim reaper this year! I was relieved everything fit well, even though he exceeds the height range in the description of 140-170 cm.To save any disappointment, I tried everything on myself first. I found the gloves, labelled as "snug fit," actually fit me okay - and I've got big hands!While the cloak is a bit on the small side for me, I could definitely wear it for a party. The mask is super stretchy and fits perfectly, and the scythe and necklace are fine too. If my son wasn't such a fan of Halloween, I wouldn't mind wearing this fun set myself!
