It really soothed my red, irritated skin. Since I've been using it, I've had NO skin redness. Interestingly, even areas of my skin that I didn't know were irritated have calmed down, reveling better looking skin. I'll definitely order it again.

I'm going to start this with admitting I rarely write reviews (and have NEVER submitted one with photos!) I am doing so as I often read them-and appreciate those who take the time to do so, and man alive I'm glad I did. This lotion is a game changer. I am in my 40's and had a lesion that popped up out of nowhere on the inside of my knee. No history of psoriasis or eczema with myself or in my family. I ruled out ringworm (I don't have pets, children with it and work remote) but initially treated it with fungal cream as it became itchy and raw. This same rash type spot spread to my arm, then my other arm, then my other knee and then cleared up a little while.When it came back all 4 spots it was worse than before and I would feel itchy with an annoying tingle sensation other parts of my body. I finally took it to a dermatologist after reading enough about auto-immune disease (self diagnosing HAH). The topical steroid and Retinol I was prescribed exacerbated the issue. At this time I was getting in the sun (advised any UV helps) an thought it could be that. I have very sensitive skin and react to anything with alpha hydroxy, lactic acid, salicylic acid, retinols etc. so trying something new was my fear with this....changing up again. But when you itch like a dog with mange, set on fire with meds that are supposed to help.... worrying about the spreading factor, it can't get any worse, RIGHT?I cannot express how grateful I am to have found this and what a difference it has made in just 3 days! These pics are my before and after pictures- and I continue to see healing and progression from night to morning and night. Some reviews stated the product "burns". When I applied this the first time, it felt more like a warming sensation over my spots rather than a burning one, and it went away within seconds. I will add this was during a full on irritation phase. By that night when I applied it again (after the shower) was slightly less warming feeling and the itching totally subsided. The next day I felt nothing upon application, like it was already sealing my skin and forming a healing barrier. I will continue to update my review when I've used this longer-so far I am amazed and 1000% believer in this product. I'm aware everyone's situation is unique but this is totally worth trying and hopefully will make the difference you have been searching for, as it did me.

Guys, I am FLOORED by the results from this stuff. I have been a skincare junkie for over a decade now, worked at Sephora for years and have tried every type of new hot ingredient out there. A few years ago, I started developing these weird red bumps around my nose and mouth. Nothing seemed to help (even tried omitting all products and still didn’t go away). Finally I figured out it was perioral dermatitis, and it started flaring BAD around thanksgiving 2021. Searched Amazon for something and within 2 days of using Dermacalm, my bumps were smoothed, and my chapped skin was moisturized and healing. I wish I took pictures - I was so embarrassed of the red rashes around my nose and mouth I didn’t take any without makeup. So just take my word. If you’re dealing with something that isn’t healing from acne treatment or skin-calming ingredients, try this stuff. It’s creamy, not waxy or heavy, no fragrance, sinks into the skin beautifully, and seems to protect and heal the skin. After every application, my dry winter skin says “thank you” :’)And 2 months later, my skin is so smooth and so happy. I can’t imagine using another face cream now. I’m not sure what the origins of Amélie Monnier are, as they seem to only have a couple products in their line up, but they have bestowed upon us a wonderfully formulated nourishing, skin-barrier-friendly cream.*also fake reviews are so prevalent these days that I’m going to mention here that I didn’t receive any sort of compensation for posting my thoughts on this product.

My husband had surgery a few years ago and while the surgical site healed, for some reason about six months ago it developed a small hole that would not close. So, we've travelled the road of trying various things at home to help it re-heal/close, which meant often having band-aids on in the same area. Over time, the skin where the band-aids stuck on became irritated as well. I finally convinced my husband to use gauze bandages for a time to let the whole area breathe and purchased this product to apply to the area around the (thankfully now-healing) hole, and it has worked great! I also used this in conjunction with another product on an area of skin on his leg that was prone to become horribly scaly and dry, and it worked great there, too!

Tbh, it mention that it helps with itch and dry skin and it did that for me but it didn't clear up any post eczema scaly skin, it does help with itching bout along of our products does that too. Also, the amount of cream that came with mine was way too little the weight and thickness of the container is all in the material not the cream it carry.

Literally the best lotion I’ve ever had! No strong fragrance really helps moisturize skin. Compared to anything else this works the best of any facial lotion you will try.

I had high hopes for this creme, that this was the miracle I was looking for. I read lots of reviews that said it was good for extreme itch. So I decided to spend the hefty amount. I have terrible itchy rashes and have tried numerous creams. I have itchy patches in different spots that are almost invisible until I scratch them till I bleed, I feel like I’m itching from the inside out. I tear open my flesh to get relief but it won’t go away no matter what. I put this on and the itch intensified a lot. So I’m back to square one and out $25.00+ as there are no returns. I wish something out there could help me. Maybe this works for some with very dry skin, but not for my issue whatsoever.
