Alien: Romulus

Excellent movie in the timeline between the original Alien and the sequel Aliens. There are a lot of opinions about this movie, particularly around throwbacks to the original 2. But, if you think about it, they are not really throwbacks. In the timeline, this movie is put between the two of them, so all of the things you see in it that seem to be references to one or the other (weapons, the rescued pod from the Nostromo, etc.) all fit perfectly where they are placed. I thought this was fantastic how things were setup and the execution of this movie is near perfect. Was it the best movie ever? Not exactly, but it is pretty fantastic for what it is. I saw it in the theater first and have watched it a couple of times at home (4k Steelbook is amazing pickup!), and the more I have watched, the more of the nuances I begin to see. The feeling it evokes is similar to the first two, but seemingly what is missing from the other Alien movies. Excellent addition to the Alien universe, where the first two are the strongest entries and the rest of them leave much to be desired.

I’m so excited to gift this to my partner for Christmas! We both have been wanting this steel book since it got released. So glad I found it on here for a good price!

This is a very good movie.

It feels engineered to be enjoyable. Has some new and fresh ideas, but also makes many references to previous films in the franchise. Nothing boundary pushing or revolutionary, but fun to watch nonetheless. Left room for a sequel, so looking forward to more.

Good movie

This 4K and Blu-ray disc looks and sounds fantastic. The pictures are sharp with vibrant colors, and the audio quality is clear and immersive it really makes you feel the terror of the Alien. The disc played perfectly with no issues, and the packaging arrived in great condition. A great addition to any movie and Alien collection.

What an intense movie. If you love the Alien movies, then you will dig this one. Not some over complicated storyline and the action and suspense doesn't let up after it starts. It reminded me of Alien and Aliens. Glad to see someone did it right again.

The disc played flawlessly and the picture and sound were excellent. Full Marks

Weyland corporation runs the mining company that everyone works for. A group of young Weyland colonizers scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, come face to face with hell. They hope to steal the cryogenic pods still on the station but find out they are low on cryogenic fuel. The space station is divided into two halves-Romulus and Remus. Andy is a synthetic and is a decommissioned unit built by Weyland. The kids need his robotic clearance systems to gain access throughout the station. And so it begins, as their ship crashes into the bay of the Romulus- Hell is unleashed. To make matters worse, the station is in a countdown to an impact event. Wait-what, an Human/Alien Xenomorph.

Todo bien con la película y el steelbook, la película es buena y justo por eso quería que formara parte de mi colección. El precio me parece elevado pero es una gusto para darse.
