This item works great on my PS5. I just always keep it plugged in and it has no problem connecting to my JBL speaker. It is so seamless that I honestly forget that I had to get this in order for my speaker to connect. All I do now is turn on my speaker and my PS5 and it automatically connects. Sometimes I will have to switch the audio output if I am switching to my headset but it is very easy and intuitive to do that on the PlayStation OS. It has worked consistently for the last 6 months and I have never had any audio latency issues. Definitely worth it for me.

Perfect to improve audio quality or latency for gaming with a Desktop/Laptop, iPhone, or Galaxy device with AptX headphones (such as Momentum 4, Px7/8 series, Melomania P100 and many more).All the devices above support a subset of codecs, for example iPhone/Desktop/Laptop will support AAC and Galaxy will support standard AptX but lack the codec support to get everything out of the headphones.Particularly for gaming, using this dongle with AptX Adaptive Low Latency gives a better experience with less lag and time delay. For music AptX Adaptive HD and AptX HD has some noticeable improvements over SBC and AAC.Using the device is plug and play, simply plug it into the device, hold the button on the dongle to enter pairing mode and do the same on the headphones, they will pair automatically. Do keep the manual on-hand to refer to which color corresponds to which codec!Great value and very similar functionality compared to the alternatives like the Sennheiser BTD600 and Creative BT-W5. All these have a similar feature set but I found the UGreen was the most affordable of bunch.

If you want to use AirPods in a PS5, these are plug and play. They paired immediately, even with nearby iPhones and iPads n such, they don’t ‘auto switch’ over to them, it just works. No lag (at least at 20 ish feet away), no audio issues at all.The only small complaint is likely more to do w the nature of Bluetooth or even the PS5, but if I go out of range and come back, I have to switch the PS5 audio output to the TV, put the AirPods back in the case, put them back on, and switch the audio back to headphones. And fwiw “out of range” is quite far so I doubt this would be an issue for most users. It’s just my freezer is really far and I like ice cream.

I contacted UGREEN support, and they confirmed aptX LL is supported, so it’s possible they’re using older packaging, but the inconsistency is frustrating if you’re shopping specifically for low-latency gaming.For my use, I paired this adapter with two different headsets: the Yamaha TW-E3C (a hidden gem with excellent sound quality) and the Sennheiser Momentum 4. Both connected quickly and reliably, and aptX Adaptive worked beautifully. Streaming Ultra HD audio from Amazon Music was crystal clear, with rich detail and no lag—exactly what you want if you're not using Apple or Sony headphones but still care about high-resolution wireless sound.As for gaming on PlayStation 4 or 5, there are a couple of things to know. If your headset has a built-in microphone and you want to use it for voice chat, Bluetooth will downgrade the audio codec, and you won’t get aptX Adaptive quality. However, if you have small 3.5 plug mic, that can be plugged into your PS controller, allowing you to keep high-quality game audio over aptX Adaptive while handling chat separately.In short, this adapter delivers fantastic sound for music and media, and works well for gaming too—just know the limitations around mic use and aptX LL. A great buy overall, especially if you're looking beyond the usual Sony/Apple ecosystem.

I purchased this product because I have Sony head phones 1000xm4 and want to use it with my ps5. I have to admit I was a little skeptical however I am pleasantly impressed I have been using it for 3 weeks and it works perfectly I have not had any lag and I walk around my house and do not loss connections and it was easy to use right out the box plug and play basically. I have never given 5 stars but this is well deserved

This worked so good on my ps5 and can connect any earbuds or bluetooth speaker.
