96 Blazer access hole
Well, your choices are 200 and change at a dealership, around 175 at local Zones, 29.00 at Amazon, and this one. The reason I picked this one was that it is claimed to be Delphi. I say claimed because there's so much stuff coming from China, we needed really know, not does the seller.I didn't get the 29.00 one for to reviews and fact that you have to be towed when it fails. So the box has all the correct Delphi paperwork but the wiring connection has to be modified. After 20 years of replacing these I still don't know why we can't get a plug in correct for the car.Ok, on to installation. You'll find you have to drop the tank. Bad job. Really bad job for the driveway mechanic. I've done it five times. Since the last, I've aquired more metal tools and skills and I knew that you can cut an access hole above the pump and do the replacement from there. So I looked at a few YouTube and figured I could get it done. I used then to locate some reference points. Look for the three spot welds. Drill those out. Then see the other reference points relative to the seat bolts. You don't have to be perfect within an quarter inch. Doesn't matter.I used a cut off wheel because I know I can control the depth. I also used a welding blanket to protect from Sparks. Once the metal was removed I had perfect access to the pump. See pictures.Wren replacing the pump, pay attention to the wiring directions. It looks complicated, but it isn't. Just look at the wiring colors. To replace the access panel, I spot welded only four points. I'll have to replace it again, I'm sure, so a quick grind will get rid of those next time. Then I used silicone sealer to seal the rest of the panel. Not shown is there metal tape I used to cover the sealer. Put the carpet back, put the seats in, your done.Big tip. Don't forget to take the locking clips of the old pump. They lock the fuel lines to the pump. There is not one on the center. Only the outsides.Until the next time......

So Good So Far
I have ran up about 500 miles on this unit so far and it seems to work great. A perfect start every time. A good value for the money. Beats the heck out of spending $300.

fuel pump WORTH IT!
I compared prices online, to local parts store and this beat local by alot even with my next day shipping. the fuel pump was a simple install, i would suggest spraying your vehicle down with a power washer around the pump and tank before you begin this adventure) the only trouble i had with the pump was getting the seal to seat but otherwise it was a cinch, fuel pressure was up and back driving same day i received it. My truck had already previously had pump replaced so the plugs had been changed.

Excellent!
I installed this pump about 6,000 miles ago and have had no problems at all. The only issue I ran into with installation was the o-ring that seals the pump to the fuel tank was the wrong size, so I just used my old one. That is not actually the first time I have seen this problem. I worked at an auto parts store for 16 years and have seen this with multiple brands. I sold Delphi for many years. Their warranty return rate is spectacular. If given a choice I will always spend the little extra to purchase a VERY high quality pump.

Takes some pressure to get it back in the tank. Make sure to use silicone grease on the o-ring and lip of tank where it goes into.
