One of my favourite liqueurs from Amazon
An impact of this lockdown means I am trying new things (don't ask why I'm more adventurous all of a sudden, because I genuinely don't know). I had seen this Bajan liqueur mentioned a few times whilst I was researching new spirits to buy, and as it is supposed to go well with rum - which I am also experimenting with - I thought I'd give it a try. It is easily one of the best things I have bought off Amazon. I tasted neat to taste its proper flavour profile, then with ice, then with rum. I very nearly didn't add the rum, as it is delicious on its own. It is now a staple in my home bar. Tastes of a whisper of frangipane, a pinch of warm cloves on the swallow, sun and good times. I will be reordering this come Christmas time, as I think it would work really well in Christmas cakes, which I bake every year.

Great as one of the ingredients of a rum swizzle
Wanted this in order to make traditional Bermudian rum swizzles. It is just the job.

Great Mixer with Rum
Why did you choose this product over others?:Excellent when mixed with rum and bitters to create a 'Corn and Oil' as it is called in Barbados.

Essential tiki cocktail ingredient
I'd previously tried Monin falernum syrup (not great) and was much more impressed with this. Cocktail tasted great, bar standard, good aroma.

Top Falernum
I tried making Falernum myself once and for all the time, effort and expense it was nowhere near as good as this. Very sweet but with a good balance of flavours. Absolutely fantastic with some good Barbadian rum in a Corn 'n' Oil.
