This hip armor is thick and heavy, and looks like real leather. It's kinda stiff at first, but it can be curved enough to wear and it seems to be pretty shapable. It is kind of heavy and a little hot, but it looks really cool and is a nice addition to Viking costume.

I wasn't expecting this to be as good of a quality that it turned out to be, to be honest.However, this is actual leather and feels pretty durable. I immediately put it on and tried it out. It looks and feels absolutely awesome.I intend to work it into my ren faire outfit and will probably stain the leather black to match my outfit, other than that, I have no complaints about it.Definitely recommend if you're looking for a ren faire piece or larp armor.

They look like real leather though, especially the thick armor panels on each of the tassets. Super light but solid, these gave my costume the look I wanted, and I think helped my costume be such a hit at the Ren Faire.
