Some of these are appropriate for ceramic clay, but some are so tiny it would be difficult to use them. Some of them worked great, putting the thin plastic and cutting, but the snowflake was too detailed to work with the plastic. What I discovered was, if I only press half way and don't entirely cut out the item, I will get the detail I want. Then I can then cut it the rest of the way with an exacto knife. If you look at the first picture you can see two gingerbread boys. One, where I pressed through the paper, looks kind of creepy. The other one I didn't impress hard enough to entirely cut him out, but then I cut around him with the exacto knife and he came out really well. These these little cutters have lots of detail, and if you're careful, you can get some very nice pieces with ceramic clay as well as with polymer clay.

The cutters were easy to use. I used corn starch to help the clay not stick in the stud cutters. the designs are adorable and perfect for earring studs. They will make perfect gifts for my friends and family.

Doesn’t matter what I do, clay keeps sticking to the molds. When they don’t stick, they come out cute.

These cutters give you a lot of designs to choose from and there are mirror images of the ones you would want a right and left of to make polymer clay earrings. These cutters provide the shape of the design and details will be left to the designer. The ones that do have detail like the penguin need to have thick clay to leave the imprint. It is probably best to use acrylic paint markers or liquid clay to add the detail of the different colors. The cutters do not allow you to cut the details out of different colors of clay easily.

These Christmas polymer clay cutters are exactly as described with one following exception. They are white not pink. But that does not change the function so I didn’t take off a star for that. I really like that this set features a snow globe, a sweater plus two ornament cutters and then small cutters for the embellishments. Please see my photos.
