Pretty, but a pain to work with.
I've got a home assistant setup that I wanted to use these with. For button presses, they're not bad. They emit a scene activation message that your controller can grab and automate whatever you like with. The touchpads have light and haptic feedback which can be controlled with ZWave configuration, which is good because the beep tone is obnoxious. Unfortunately, you can only toggle these. I recommend 'off' for the tone. But the big disappointment is that the swipe dimmer controls aren't scene messages, they're only valid for direct node group associations. If you don't know what that is, and aren't interested in learning a lot about ZWave, this device isn't for you. If you do know what that is, the manual says the swipe will dim lights by "a certain percentage" without explaining what that means. Perhaps it's something the target device can control but I haven't figured it out. In my case, that percentage is 50%, so I can go from off, to 50%, to 100% and that's it. Add to that how frustrating the swipe control is to register as a swipe and not a button press and I'm fairly disappointed.Overall I'll still be using it as a 2 button scene activation device with fairly good battery life. If that's all you want, it's really pretty good and very attractive. If you're hoping to use fancy swipe actions to control up to 8 behaviors, you will be disappointed as I am.

Works great as a touch switch
I've had my Wallmote for 3 months now. I'm using it simply as a remote on/off switch for a humidifier. So I'm not using the tap and hold or slide features, which I haven't tested and can't comment on. But as a simple tap on/off switch it works great. Was easy to set up. I've only had to charge it twice in the 3 months I've had it. I have it sitting flat on my desk. It's small enough (3" square) that it's not in the way, and large enough to easily find it.

Pretty nicely implemented touch switch
The hardware is really nice; there's nothing cheap or plasticky about this thing. It's really a pretty solid bang for your buck, and you can mount it anywhere you want. The SmartThings support for this particular switch is a bit lacking, though (which is probably more Samsung's fault than Aeotec's). You have to go through a fairly complicated installation process for third party drivers, and you only get click and long click functionality. You can't, say, use the sliding gesture to control dimming. Also, with the third party drivers, all the signals have to go out to the internet and back, so there's a noticeable lag, and I suppose it won't work at all if your internet access dies. Hopefully SmartThings can release some real, local drivers for this switch in the near future.

Very finicky to setup.
The device's basic functions (on/off) are all I sought to implement and that's working fine. However, the advanced features are very finicky to implement and some were completely uncooperative. Again, I didn't intend to use those features so the device met my needs. If you seek to use this for scene management, and/or device dimming, you could be in for a technical challenge to make it work. Reference Google for others experiences - especially in conjunction with your specific Home Automation Hub. If the device worked as advertised right out of the box, I'd give it 5 stars. But since it does not meet the manufacturers stated expectations, I will only give it 3, and provide you, the consumer, with this caveat. If you're looking for a simple two button, on/off, remote (battery operated) wireless z-wave switch this will work well for you.

Works well with Smartthings hub... might need a repeater if the distance is large
The switch paired with the smartthings app super trivial (go to app, add device, push button on the switch, done). Tying the button to actions was also a breeze. One of my rooms was quite a bit of distance away (measured in number of walls) and for more reliable behavior I had to put a Z-wave repeater somewhere in the middle (I needed a wall plug anyway so not a huge deal)

Useful little device for home assistant
I really like this Lil pal along with it's bigger sibling the quad, relatively easy to associate with a z wave network, and get going. However actually setting the device up, in my case with home assistant can be a little problematic, but that's more home assistant and OZW's fault. Battery seems to be great, but documentation is kinda lacking, or I haven't looked hard enough.

Difficult to distinguish swipes vs taps.
Too many functions for what I needed. The dimming function seemed to conflict with simple switching, so that a simple single press was not recognized.Others might have better luck.

Works well, most of the time
I am using this as a replacement light switch through smart things. It looks nice. It has options for vibration and beeping on activation which can be turned off. It is NOT 2 up and down rockers - it is two buttons. It works fine most of the time, with smart things is has trouble recognizing two presses close together and there is some delay. I have had it a month and it is at about 2/3 battery - is has a micro USB port for charging. Overall it gets the job done, but is kind of wonky and not 100% reliable.
